do you agree with Wonderful Stossel? i do!

http://constitution.com/john-stossel-todays-democrats-insane/

Today’s Democrats are insane. This isn’t just a new Bernie Sanders phenomenon. Watch what happened at the last Democratic Convention when radio host Peter Schiff walked around and asked people this: “Would you be in favor of a law banning corporate profits?”

“Of course!”

“Yes! Yes!”

“Maybe we should talk corporate losses.” “You actually want to force corporations to LOSE money?” “Yea. I think so.”

“Let’s do it!” “Through the nose!” “Through the nose!”

Are you kidding me? Just years ago President Bill Clinton backed free trade, signed welfare reform, presided over a budget surplus. But now Democrats are so clueless that they want to lower profits? Yes!

“We should put a cap on corporate profits so that no one corporation can earn too much money.” “Yea, I think that’s a good idea!”

What? What do they think will fund “free” healthcare, “free” education, and all of the other stuff they want to do? Maybe when it comes to money they don’t think. Tax money just flows in from corporations that make NO money… and rich people?!

You are a liar and a manipulator. You are pathetic and should be called out as such.

Hey, let's make a trade. We'll cap corporate profits if we can also cap corporate losses. Lose too much money and the taxpayer makes up the difference.

If liberalism is a mental disorder then the Founding Fathers were nuts. Were they, yes or no?

Yep.

If it had been left up to conservatives, we'd all be speaking with a British accent.

As for the OP, I can remember when Stossel was a human being.

The tax payer already pays subsidies to quite a few businesses and employers and idiot RWNJ traitors are in favor of that being the law of the land.

No. What masquerades as "liberalism" today is barely a distant cousin of the classical liberalism embraced by the Founding Fathers. Look it up.

Modern "liberalism" is more akin to a crazy mutt philosophy comprised of European-style Democratic Socialism and a psychotic desire for the unquestioned totalitarian control enjoyed by the Inner Party of Orwell's "Nineteen-Eighty Four".

You really need some remedial history before you spout more asinine statements.

There is no connection between the founding fathers & modern politicians. To suggest so is laughable

I think the point what was attempted to be made was that the traditional use of the term "liberal" is the opposite of being authoritarian. However, the modern day liberal is all about being authoritarian. They pass about 40.000 new laws and regulations every year.

They wish to legislate all the badness away as where the Founding Fathers offered freedom and natural rights from the state.

One cannot say liberalism is a disease without calling the Founders of this nation sick so, don't.

Learn why this nation was founded using the principles of Liberalism. And learn why you should defend such a thing? That is where your liberty comes from, liberalism.

Yes, but not your Bizarro ill-named facsimile.
