John Deere is moving its tractor cab production from Waterloo to Mexico

Deere cited a tight labor market as it acknowledged plans to move some operations to Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, in 2024. Up to 250 jobs could be affected.

All they have to do is keep their extortions below the break-even margin and the companies will pay. They don't; they're there to keep an eye on how much they're owed and to keep their cut as high as possible.

Xi has upped the cut, so now they're all of a sudden moving out, to Viet Nam, Mexico, etc. AS for Mexico, they wouldnt move there if the U.S. govt. hadn't built the infrastructure, power plants, roads, etc at American taxpayers' expense; off-shoring doesn't pay without our government subsidizing it all.

2006: I was driving a truck and got a regular route for awhile bringing John Deere parts from larado to Iowa, and hauling empty racks for parts back to lorado.
That was 2006, the pieces were made in Mexico and assembled into tractors in Iowa. How is this a big change?
