Joe Kent, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, announced his resignation on Tuesday, citing his concerns about the justification for military strikes in Iran and saying he “cannot in good conscience” back the Trump administration’s war.

“Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby,” Kent said in a statement posted on social media.

I don't care what your definition of a conservative is. One thing I didn't like about Trump was his stance of "no wars". So, Trump has actually been a much better president than I expected. We needed to bomb drug cartels and get rid of them. We needed to take Venezuela. Iran has been a threat to the world for 45 years and getting worse so this is also necessary. And, getting rid of communism in Cuba is also a great goal. And, I'm also for getting Greenland in a peaceful way. Great counter to Russia's expansionism, not to mention their vast resources.
