I believe that Obama now has a Great Opportunity. The Fed has stated that it needs inflation to get the economy going. Perhaps, Carter can go give them a few tips on how to do that since he was so good at it back then.

Ok let's get back to the actual deal with Carter. If he goes so far as to say "Obamacare, and the implementation of it now is questionable at best"
that's freaking loaded.

First and foremost the Jimmeh will always be a Southern gentleman. Secondly, President Carter is a true statesman.

So that comment, coming from that man is a humdinger. Consider Obama skewered. Southern style.

I know this will come off as strange, but I respect the man. He just wasn't suited for the office of the President.

He was like Canada's Lester B Pearson. Not suited to lead a nation but the most fabulous diplomat.

Thank you for your reply to my post as I view it as yet another opportunity to address what I consider, to be a very important side-bar to this discussion.

When someone writes an imflanitory title to a thread, I don't have a problem with it ... unless it truly crosses the line over into outright lying. The fact that 'everyone does it' does not make a lick of difference to me.

Everyone does it, because no one is speaking up. Why would you find this to be a non-isue? It would seem that, as a member of this site, you would share a vested interest in Its overall integrity, no?
