On Saturday, 90-year-old former US President Jimmy Carter called conditions in Gaza “intolerable” eight months after Israel’s summer 2014 genocidal war.

Visiting Jerusalem he said:

“What we have seen and heard only strengthens our determination to work for peace. The situation in Gaza is intolerable.”

“Eight months after a devastating war, not one destroyed house has been rebuilt and people cannot live with the respect and dignity they deserve.”

Last summer during the height of Israeli aggression, Carter warned of an impending “humanitarian catastrophe.”

In vain, he urged “all combat operations must stop, and Israeli troops should withdraw from Gaza.”

They continued rampaging lawlessly against defenseless civilians – mass murdering noncombatant men, women and children, an Israeli specialty.

My father remembers a time when he used to wipe Hummus in the south with residents of Gaza. You know why this stopped? Because they started terrorising us.

They can if they can afford it, a bit like 1930's Germany and the Jews. If they have the hard cash American, of the same in gold they can exit through the tunnels into Egypt. The tunnels owned and ran by hamas who call the shots, the same hamas that controls the border crossings so the people can exit gaza. If they want shelter then go to downtown gaza where the country clubs and malls are, hamas has them very well guarded and wont allow any rockets in those places.

No blockade, no fishing limits and no problem getting in and out of Israel and Egypt. No demolition and they had a sea port and airport. Along comes hamas and destroys all that by resorting to violence and terrorism.
