"After a picture and video surfaced online of a Mountain Brook history teacher and students appearing to do a Nazi salute in class, CBS 42 sat down with a Jewish student who witnessed it all happen. Ephraim Tytell said his class was learning about what the Nazi salute meant before it became a hateful gesture. "The teacher explained to us that in America we used to do that before WWII and everything and then he proceeded to show us, ask us to stand up to salute the flag and he and everyone else did the Nazi salute,” Ephraim told CBS 42.

The next day, he said school administrators reprimanded him. “They proceeded to tell me that I’m making Mountain Brook look bad for uploading the video and sharing it and asked me to apologize to my teacher, which I refused to,” he said. Ephraim said at this time, the school has not issued any sort of apology to him for the incident."

Oh boo hoo....obviously the teacher was just trying to teach some context around the Nazi salute and how it was at one time a patriotic gesture -- it was commonly known as the Bellamy salute....This is why it helps for students to learn their history and understand context......Maybe if this kid knew the history of the Nazi salute, he wouldn't have been so triggered by the original Bellamy salute....But Jews are so triggered by the holocaust and all; that even a simple salute offends them...like bro, relax....you're not a victim....you aren't being persecuted....white christian conservatives are the ones suffering persecution now, not you.....

Honestly, I believe this kid was just trying to smear his teacher and his school for his little viral moment....He should have been expelled for what he did...I bet he wouldn't have done this stuff if the teacher was teaching all of that anti-white racist CRT crap..where teachers are having black students chain up white students and beat them with whips and chains; all in the spirit of liberal indoctrination......it's outrageous...that is what needs to be filmed....not this stuff....

I'm just not that excited about this. I think the national socialist salute is a lot less offensive than actual nazi policies like gun control, genocide and socialist medicine.

Children can goosestep around the school yard all day long, and no one is killed. But if they institute socialized medicine or death camps for the other students, that's the real problem, even if they aren't "heiling hitler" all over the place.

If a teacher really is claiming such bullshit they really need to be fired. If it's a lie the kid needs to be expelled for a few days and then apologize to the entire school.
