Being Texan, I've met very few Jews in my life. The few I have met were just in passing, so it's not like I could get presumptuous and ask them personal questions about Jews.

I've read books, I've seen documentaries, etc...............

Most of it stems from the Hitler era, and I understand why Adolph Hitler hated Jews. BUT.......WHY is there hatred NOW?

Is it as simple as progressive hatred from the Nazi era? Or is it something else completely?

I really don't understand this particular kind of hate. But I would like to understand.

Some of them can be arrogant assholes sometimes. Very tribal. If any "white" group behaved in a similar tribal manner they would be labeled as racists.

I think it is because the Jews are 'different' and (along with many Christians) believe they are the chosen of God. And being mostly people who are happy to just live their lives in peace following the 'laws' they believe they are required to follow, they appear 'different' and 'strange' to outsiders. And they become easy targets for those who need a excuse to do evil.

The Russian Tzars labeled them "Christ killers" as an excuse to initiate pograms against them and eventually expel many from that country. Later Lenin and Stalin who effectively outlawed religion would be contemptuous of remaining Russian Jews who remained religious. The Jews were accused of being anti-socialist and against the state and most were again killed or expelled.

In Europe from the Roman Empire and throughout the middle ages, misguided popes and other Christian church leaders looked at the Jews as outliers and a threat to Christianity. In many cases the Jews were forced into being second class citizens, denied the right to buy or own property and such. (Which explains in part why so many Jewish people went into science, education, law, banking, shipping and various trades that do not involve physical infrastructure.)

And Islam quickly relegated the Jews as infidels and enemies of Islam to be destroyed.

Here in the USA, anti-semitism and the prejudice and bigotry that go with it is taught. But I think most evangelical Christians understand that without Judaism, there would be no Christianity, that Jesus himself as well as the Apostles were devout Jews. Christianity evolved from the Jewish faith and traditions and retained a lot of that.

That is why a devout Christian and ordained minister like Mike Huckabee is thrilled to be Ambassador to Israel. He loves the Jewish people and understands why their faith is important to his Christian faith. He will be an excellent bridge between the USA and Israel and perhaps instrumental in dispelling at least some of the hateful and ignorant anti-semitism that infests some of our society.

If the MOSAIC article is all you have then just admit that. The only man speaking about it is a "Lawrence Schiffman" and he has no sources either from what I can see.

Even he speaks of numbers 600-900 so hardly on-par with the Third Reich, such massacres are well known throughout history, The Romans killed far more British than that !

I'm not disputing such an event happened, but with no credible sources I have no idea what the facts are only claims.

comprehensive means complete-----the entire communities were
wiped out 1400 years ago and to date. They both preceded the
advent of islam. Today there are jews in Germany and even in Poland.
The community of jews in the land of my husband's birth existed in that
land for over 4000 years-----today it is COMPREHENSIVELY gone. Kabul
Aghanistan had---at one time---a thriving jewish community----I am not
sure if the last jew still there remains there or is alive

Christ was going to be sacrificed. That was always God's Plan, and He made it happen. The Jews extant were part of the Plan; they had no choice in the matter. To blame the Jews for Christ's sacrifice is like blaming the hammer because you hit your thumb with it.
