In New York, 17 is the age of consent.

In Florida, 18 is the age of consent.

There are some exceptions, like Romeo and Juliet exceptions where their age difference is within 3 years...like a 20yr old adult with a 17 year old....in a state like Florida with 18 as the age of consent.

Yeah the girls in the Netflix documentary kept referring to Jeff as "this old guy" when their schoolmates were recruiting them saying "yeah I make $200 just for giving this old guy a massage". In the mid '2000s when this was all happening he would have been approaching, if not already 50 years of age.

Did you watch the video? If you didn't then you're in no position to even speculate on what she knew before the day she was assaulted.

If interested, watch the Netflix documentary on Epstein, it's extremely eye-opening and shows the lengths that people went to in order to appease him, the offender.

I will blame any "victim" who had a chance to make the right decision beforehand. Some victims are people who have no choice in what victimizes them, through no fault of their own; other victims deserve their fate because of their actions.

95% of all sex trade workers were sexually abused as children. Child sexual abuse is the farm system for adult sex trade workers. That true of both boys and girls, but child sexual abuse of girl children goes unpunished.

In Canada we had two cases which came to trial around the same time. The Christian Fathers orphanage in Newfoundland, and the Grandview Farm case in Ontario.

After decades of complaints from former residents which police and the Church ignored, Mount Cashel Orphanage was shut down and several of the Christian Brothers were charged and convicted of sexually abusing the boys who lived there. ALL of the men charged with abusing the boys in their care were convicted.

Grandview Training Facility for Girls was a detention facility near Guelph where underage female offenders were housed. When it became public knowledge that guards were sexually abusing the residents there, charges were laid.



NONE of the guards charged with sexually abusing the residents was ever convicted of ANYTHING. The courts said the victims consented, and in many cases "seduced" the guards, offering sex in return for favours. Many of the girls were in the facility because of prostitution.

Why are you running you mouth about matters you have no knowledge of? My question to you about getting involved in online harassment was not rhetorical. And addressing what you somehow think is a "private" matter that manifests on a public message board just makes you look even more uninformed than you obviously are.

He nor anyone else has anymore right to repeatedly harass someone who is not interested in hearing ANYTHING from them on an online forum than if we all were in a supermarket & he were following me around in order to comment to me about things I don't care to hear his opinion on.

When a person tells you to stop attempting to engage them in conversation and they acknowledge receipt of that request but continue the behavior, that is what the courts refer to as prima facie evidence that the subsequent behavior is intentional even if their continued attempts consist of lame attempts to explain why they have the right to continue their unwanted behavior.

They believed him because they were too young to know what was going on. Every time you clowns talk about Epstein victims, you denigrate them and act like they were out for all they could get. These girls were lured into these sex trafficking scenarios, and then threatened that their videos and photos would be sent to their families and friends if they'd didn't continue to do as Epstein wanted.

Such victims are often plied with drugs, or hooked on narcotics to keep them enslaved. They will never be the same. Their lives will never be the same. Rape leads to PTSD, depression, suicides, as we have recently seen. Even if their traffickers are caught and prosecuted, the damage to the victims is a life sentence.
