Why would a drug runner have 11 people jammed in to the boat, instead of making room for the weight of more drugs? Why does a drug runner want 10 other witnesses on board and their weight slowing him down? Why would a boat 1600 miles away from America, even if filled with drugs, be an imminent threat to America? An imminent threat, enough to kill all those on board?

This action was wrong, in every way....even without knowing the details....Who died and made us God? Judge, jury, and executioner?

If you look at the video, the boat clearly has a large cargo of bundles. The large crew is for the purpose of transferring the cargo quickly to another boat. An open boat isn't going to do an open sea voyage of more than a few hundred miles but being small with a low radar profile would be ideal for avoiding surface radar coverage for a patrol boat or ship.

Posse Comitatus only applies INSIDE the United States. From its beginning, the US Navy has deprived pirates of life without due process on the open ocean. The Cartels have been declared terrorist organizations, that puts them outside the normal rules of warfare just like pirates. You don't see the various navies operating off the African coast giving the pirates due process, just missiles or bullets.
