Let me shed a little light on this choice, first she was the attorney for Anita Hill during the confirmation hearings for Justice Thomas. She has presided over a budget deficit here in Arizona that is currently the second highest in the nation. She has presided over a state educational system that according to several surveys that is dead last in K-12 Education. Most importantly , she is the Gov. of our state in which illegal alien incurrsions into the US since her election have increased over 210% according to the DEA. So again from Arizona we send out apologies in advance for this choice.

Well that means that Jan Brewer will become our Gov. so we will go from a Democrat to a Republican and IMHO a much better person as Gov. too. While I am not thrilled with the pick of JAYNO it does have benefits for the locals.

I am frankly surprised that Hillary Clinton would consider taking the post of Sec. of State though as opposed to staying in the Senate where she could do more to steer healthcare policy. Perhaps President-elect Obama is doing this to keep Hillary out of his hair and to basically nullify her position to run for the office in 2012?

I think he just wants to keep her out of healthcare. Dashle seems to be on point with what Obama wants done. Her going to State would keep her out of domestic matters.

Well as far as Janet Napolitano is concerned ;

In 1993, Napolitano was appointed by President Bill Clinton as United States attorney for the District of Arizona. She is another Clinton retread. Tom Dashel as you know was in the Senate during the Clinton years and is a big supporter of the Universal Healthcare. However, I don't think I made any commentary on the good or bad of the Clinton years in my post Silence , all I said was it seems like with the number of Clinton connections involved here and many with more skeltetons on their collective closets than George W. Bush it does seem to fly in the face of the change message don't you think?

I guess some Democrats from the past can actually propose change from what Bush did. Tha's called change. You don't have to go out and hire people who have no background with the government or the party to get change.
