Jack Smith tells Congress he wants to testify publicly

In-person review: Congress members can review an unredacted version of the report that contains the grand jury information by entering a secure facility known as a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
What is the source of this claim?

Which exception do you think applies to giving that information to Congress?
(E) The court may authorize disclosure—at a time, in a manner, and subject to any other conditions that it directs—of a grand-jury matter:

(iv) at the request of the government if it shows that the matter may disclose a violation of State, Indian tribal, or foreign criminal law, as long as the disclosure is to an appropriate state, state-subdivision, Indian tribal, or foreign government official for the purpose of enforcing that law;

I support anything to do with the government being done in public. They have lost all benefit of the doubt.
I support protecting innocent people....but that's just me. I think Govt has a obligation to do just that.

Nothing in there has anything to do with Congress.

Oh well. Better luck next time.

Jack Smith is ready to testify to the extent of Trumps crimes.

Does Jordan really want him to?
Well he let that opportunity pass before so we are happy to see and hear what he has now

Of course he wants to lie and testify before congress. He knows the dems will wipe his snot. He wants no part of a court room though.

Actually it's PUBLIC, and then PRIVATE.

Allowing him to be questioned on anything, where he can chose to answering in private. Which only requires a majority vote of the committee;.

A committee may vote to close a hearing for reasons including:
National security information
Personnel or management issues
Protecting an individual's privacy or reputation
Law enforcement activities
Confidential financial or commercial information
So when the Jan 6th committee had numerous private hearings with Cassidy Hutchinson before her pubic June 28th hearing that was wrong? Is that why Xiden had to give them all pardons? She gave something like four private hearings, before that

Whenever you start to convince yourself the left was not going after Trump…try to say “MAR A LAGO IS WORTH $18 MILLION” without laughing.

The $18 million valuation of Mar-a-Lago was cited by a New York judge based on a 2011 appraisal by the Palm Beach County property appraiser.

😂

So corrupt.
Oh silly one, that was NY State, wasn't it? And your wrong regardless....

If there are Grand jury protections, he does not have to testify about them. Remember, its Congress / Gym Jordan that wanted him to testify.

So this is just grand standing? He wants to violate grand jury secrey and DOJ rules and regulations? He knows that isn't allowed, so it has to be behind close doors.

What a jackass.....frankly, you have to wonder if the Dems shut the govt down to delay this hearing
Grand jury secrecy is secret, even with congress behind closed doors, isn't it? And it takes a judge approval?

Jack's track record is poor, he failed to convict Trump...his illegal scam on Bob McDonnell was exposed and that was overturned. He's really just not good at actually convicting anyone, he's only good at engaging in political hit jobs
LIE LIE LIE, LIAR....

The case was dropped or put on hold, because you can't prosecute a president, while serving.

Not because he could not have obtained a conviction by a jury on both...

It was dropped cause he had no case, he had years to get it in trial if he had one

Anything he could legally tell them in private, he can tell them in public. This is not about classified documents.
