As I have noted to another contributor on another thread, the regime in Iran is fanatical but I do not imagine it is suicidal.

Were it have a nuclear capability and were it to use that capability the regime's leaders are fully aware that they would be annihilated as indeed would most of the ME. Indeed the conflict might even spread to the entire globe.

I'm not so sure. I mean, we only pounded them for a few days, weeks. Look at how we've pounded al-Quada, ISIS, and others. Israel has been hammering Gaza for years, now attacking Iran and pounding Lebanon. Have you ever heard of Israel running low? They get all their stuff from us. How could we be running low but not Israel?

When Zelenskyy gets low, he begs more from the EU. Has Trump called up the UK, Germany, Canada or France asking them to sell us arms?

Best I can figure, the wait has all been to eliminate any argument that Trump was an impetuous warmonger. Iran is not going to conceded to our demands, so very soon, we will be forced to resume kinetic pounding.
