Maybe if I spell it out for you like a kindergartner you will understand. Iran backs and finances Hezbollah in Lebanon against Israel. If the head of the outfit (Iran) is taken out while we also eliminate Hezbollah in Lebanon, we (and Israel) don't have to worry about Iran backing and financing Hezbollah against Israel anymore.
