It’s Time to Formally Declare America A Christian Nation.

For the second time, Iran and the middle East are NOT Christian nations. Nazi Germany was not a Christian nation.
But if you want to start comparing atrocities, no countries can hold a candle to the ATHEIST regimes of that last century who murdered over 100 million people. I would also anyone who commits atrocities, regardless of what they call themselves are decidedly NOT followers of Christ's teaching.
They're all a bunch of sad a**ed pikers compared to the Christian history Mash

Lol none of the people who have replied are atheist. Most are right wing. So much for the typical atheist reply. Nope we don't want government telling us which church to go to.
See? You people don't even read. For the ninth time, my proposal was not to dictate what or any religion individuals must follow; it's that the US government shouldn't violate Christian laws, that it take the Christian position rather than the atheist position its currently taking.

Fuck you, and fuck everyone like you. We will never be a Christian nation, dolt, so suck on it...
Look at that filthy sewer of a mouth. Were you not properly toilet trained as a tot? Your vile speech is simply cover for your not having an argument.

See that is the problem when government enters into such things it always goes to fucking far. Soon it starts to define what a correct Christin is and we want none of it.

But yet you're fine if the government goes atheist by default?
Tell me how an atheist government is better than a Christian government.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to formally declare America a Christian nation.

If some of the framers intended to separate Church and state (which is not 100% certain), then it’s time to correct that mistake. it’s time for a Constitutional Amendment to declare Christianity the official belief of the United States. Here’s why:

The intent of any such separation was to prevent any single denomination from dominating or punishing members of another through government. The idea was to be religion-neutral. Noble enough. But the framers made a few critical miscalculations: They incorrectly assumed:

1. That “good” laws and “Christian” laws could be separated. They can’t. There is 100% overlap. You can’t have laws that help the people without them being Christian laws.
2. That a belief vacuum is possible in our laws. It isn’t, because the opposite of religion isn’t nothing; it’s atheism.

That’s right. When you attempt to ban Christian laws, you only allow atheist laws.

Examples:
Forcing Christian groups to pay for abortions and birth control for their employees.
Forcing Christian florists, photographers, and bakers to participate in gay weddings.
Distributing condoms in government schools to teens and preteens, suggesting that sex among these immature and obviously unmarried students is morally acceptable.
Using taxpayer funds to pay for abortions abroad.
Banning the Ten Commandments from government buildings (while flying the rainbow flag).
Banning the Nativity Scenes from government buildings.
Government sanction of Kwanzaa celebrations (a made-up racist ‘holiday’).
Disallowing references to Christmas in the public schools.
Teaching Critical Race Theory (which divides people and promotes hate).
Allowing gay marriage.

This is why the left screeches so loudly about “keeping religion out of government”. It’s because they know their atheism gets free reign if it doesn’t have to compete against Christianity.

The solution is two part: First, BAN atheism and atheistic views from being promoted by all media outlets. We’ve had such decency laws before. Hollywood enacted such standards in 1934 (that have since been repealed, unfortunately). Get rid of all the immoral trash in the movies and TV. Disallow the leftwing media from promoting atheist Marxism and other atheist policies. Then, secondly promote a Constitutional Amendment to make Christianity the official belief of the land. Then we end the abortion debate, the race-baiting issue, and the anti-capitalist pro-socialist issue once and for all. The country would once again be following God’s plan, church attendance would rise again, couples would marry instead of cohabitating, the gay marriage ruling would be repealed, families would stay together and be stronger, children would grow up in two-parent homes, so there would be far less crime. And best of all, ALL Marixst atheist disinformation would be stifled, and our children would stop being poisoned by it.

Let’s do it NOW!!
Never going to happen. Thank goodness.

Well to follow proper Cristian law everyone but the priests of the Holy Order of Speghetti Westerns must give all their wealth and possessions to the poor. Fortunately I am a priest and exempt. But you, well you're fucked. It's ok though because it's God's Law

In this country we elect our officials at least for now. We give the official s their walking papers if they go to far. I don't want to live in a theocracy. I have met way to many church goers that worship Jack Daniels on Friday and God on Sunday. They talk the talk of Christianity but don't walk the walk. Idiots that think because they don't see me in their church on Sunday that I am not Christian. Well guess what there is more than one church out there. They then try and instruct me how to act through what imagination I do not know they think they are superior. Those who think religion should be a part of government edicts tend to be self righteous and believe they should be the ones calling the shots. I do not want people that think they are infallible being in control of me. Only god knows gods mind. The first rule in leadership should be to realize you don't know everything. That is a god only state. This is true especially of today, the internet is full of people claiming to be profits making predictions that do not come true. We are supposed to judge these profits by their fruits. Their fruits have been proven poison but yet many still follow them in the name of Christ. Not me. I shall trust in god to give us the wisdom to select our leaders. I shall trust God to give us the wisdom to follow a just law and to rebel from the unjust laws. I do not evil maniacs filled with pride codifying my life and delivering justice with false faith. No thanks.

Don't look now, but we're doing this now, except substitute "leftwing politician" for priest, and 'secular law' for God's law.
Except in Catholicism, this doesn't happen. Orders of priests take vows of poverty.

So you're good with leftwing atheist government, which is doing the exact thing in the same self-righteous manner you claim to loathe?
You people are like the frogs in the pot of hot water, gradually boiling to death. When offered the solution, you choose to just remain in the pot.

The dictionary definition of liberal describes the classical liberal which is the complete opposite of today's whacked-out leftist loon. You have to look at practical definitions rather than formal dictionary ones.

Wait, we have to look for those that fit your view of the world and disregard anything else, right?

I have repeatedly tried to clarify that just because the official government position is Christianity doesn't mean individuals are required to be Christian or even theists. In fact Christianity is completely voluntary in its essence. It just means that since the position of a country MUST be a belief system, either by choice or default, it might as well be of the belief system which is best for all, which is Christianity. Right now atheism is the de facto position of the government, and that is the WORST outcome for people.

The problem with your view is that once something becomes "official" then people start to use it as a part of their power base. Then your religion becomes something else. The very reason freedom of religion was introduced into the Constitution in the first place.

Those who ignore History are doomed to repeat History.

No, Atheism is not the "de facto position of the government", what are you talking about?

You need to check out some those Christian laws. They involve a lot of stoning. Usually women.

When you ban religion from government, all you are left with is irreligion and anti-religion, aka atheism. Why aren't you concerned with leftwing atheist politicians using that as part of their power base, because that's what they're doing?

Once again, the framers did not predict the malevolent force of atheism taking root once religion in government is banned.
