It's time to call the Delta variant what it is.... and what it isn't.

Vaccines did help significantly against transmission for the better part of the year until Delta came into play. A great example of a blown opportunity to control this thing and the stupidity of the "resistance" movement.

If you use a mask correctly it is effective. If we could have united in an effort to beat this thing through masking/distance/and meds then we would be in a much better place. You "resisters" are causing the problems you are resisting to last longer. Don't you see that?

If if if if if

It's not our fault the vaccines are not sterilizing vaccines.

Agreed, the unvaxxed are the crazy ones. Some people with medical conditions should not get vaxed. I'm not dogging on those people, consult your doctor, do whats medically smart. Those resisting for political reasons and out of ignorance are the ones I'm pointing at.

There have been no vaccines that have caused this many problems and not been pulled. None. And for so little net gain. They are awful vaccines, yet people stand by them. Now you want to talk political? THAT is political.

The product sucks. Unless you work for Pfizer, Moderna or J&J, what gives?

The products have been life savers. Look at the numbers. Saved thousands of lives. You're brainwashed.

What do you think is more dangerous... COVID or the Vaccine?

Do your own research on pediatric hospitals and the delta variant. patients are getting younger and younger as these variants spread. Consider that before you continue with your "its not serious" campaign
Uh... my son is a Respiratory Specialist at one of the nations premier children's hospitals. He literally writes some of the practices that are used by many hospitals for children's care.
My daughter is a Respiratory Therapist at Indianapolis's main trauma hospital.
My daughter had it waay worse than he did, obviously. She was neck deep in it last year.
Since last summer it has not been much of an issue. They have only had 6 deaths in 14 days.

Kudos to your children for doing the good work. I'd think you would be a little more sympathetic to their situations as a parent with first hand knowledge for how bad this thing is. There is no doubt we made good progress with the original strain. You saw how bad it was, something that many Righties out there still will not acknowledge, but you have first hand experience which is why I assume you are recognizing how bad it really was. Things may not have hit your kids hospitals yet but they are being hit in other areas of the country and this thing is spreading. I don't want it to get to the levels it was before, I'm sick and tired of masks and distancing, but I'm going to do my part to keep those around me safe and call out the idiots resisting for stupid political reasons. Are your kids telling you that there is no longer a serious risk and we should all be going back to normal? No masks, no need for vax?

Except when they are at work, they don't wear mask themselves.
Of course they did for the original virus, but not now.
Their hospitals only have a handful of patients, none on respirators.
Respirators were overused at the beginning. They learned to NOT put respirators on people because of severe low Ox levels only. The respirators themselves added to the death and damage.
When my wife and I had Covid last November, both kids said to STAY HOME. Don't go to hospital unless trouble breathing. My Oxygen levels went all the way down to 88%, which before Covid was considered life threatening. However, all I had to do to get levels back up was walk around... get moving. In the early days they were putting people on respirators for the low levels alone... that was a HUGE mistake that the media doesn't talk about.
If you get Covid - AVOID THE RESPIRATOR unless truly life threatening.

What it is - is a Covid variant that is more transmissable.
What it isn't - is serious.
This is variant is not a serious virus as the initial virus was. It is made out to be, because...well... panic porn and virtue signaling.
In England....
Their study revealed death is exceedingly rare among vaccinated, and pretty damn rare among unvaccinated.

FOLKS.... this is less fatal than a common flu.

Literally, the cold virus. LITERALLY.

Is anyone surprised that the cold virus mutates and is not usually serious?

I don't need to look at the "data" I have friends that are nurses who literally work at hospitals and are in the thick of it. I talk to them directly about what is going on. Yes hospital capacities are growing thin, yes younger and younger people are being admitted. At what point does it become "serious" to you? After you get sick and need medical care and can't get because your hospital is over loaded?! You are a selfish ass.
My friends that are nurses who figuratively work at hospitals. That trumps your poor use of the English language.

Yup.

Basically a mild flu.

Who doesn't wear them? I have yet to see a doctor or nurse not wear a mask if they are in close contact with a patient.

Believe me, I spend a LOT of time in doctor's offices and hospitals.

Whats wrong with you people... I'm heading to Austin next week and they have less than 10 ICU beds left because of COVID. Hospitals all over the place mainly in Florida and Texas are filling up. How is that not serious to you?!

Pull. Head. Out. Of. Ass
The entire city of Austin has less than 10 ICU beds?

More transmissable MAKES it more dangerous.

There is no indication that it is less dangerous

It IS serious
