Over the last few weeks, we've heard Democrats talk about the conditions at Border Patrol detention facilities. There have been reports that detainees don't have access to basic necessities, like toothbrushes and bars of soap. The Chief of the Border Patrol’s law enforcement operation, Brian Hastings, on Wednesday testified in front of the Senate Homeland Security Committee. During his testimony he said detainees do have access to the basic necessities Border Patrol is being accused of not providing. Democrats have gotten the border wrong in every possible way and the only thing they have left is to try and twist the facts and make it President Trump's fault.

Just a few short years ago, the Democrats were singing in unison about the dangers of immigrants pouring over the border. Now every last one of them has done a 180 and are singing for open borders. How can anyone support a Party that does that?

I agree. A few years ago Pelousy and UpChuck were screaming for the wall. Now the wall isn't needed as there is no crisis on the border.

They should take a fact finding trip to the border and the detention centers and get a good look at the overcrowding and the "no crisis" on the border.
