Talarico responds after Hegseth’s pastor wishes him ‘crucified’​

James Talarico is the Democratic nominee for the Texas Senate. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Brooks "Potty" Potteiger is a Tennessee pastor who has been described as War Secretary's spiritual adviser:

Potty: “I pray that God kills him,” referring to Texas Democrat James Talarico.

He later claimed he was praying for Talarico’s conversion rather than his literal death.

Where I come from (the United States of America) "I pray God kills him" is not what an alleged Christian says of another Christian if the have political differences.
