Nothing wrong with pointing out the negative aspects of anyone's history. The wrong comes when that history is dwelled upon and used in an attempt to tar those who had nothing to do with making that history.

Slavery was, and still is, a blot upon the history of this world. Blacks, Whites, Asians, and just about every other ethnic population had a hand in it. However, slavery ended in the United States over one hundred and fifty years ago, and it is far past time to leave it to the historians and quit dwelling upon it.

It is also far past time for America to quit classifing people according to the color of their skin, or their ethnic/racial background.

Check out some reading material about the Jim Crow south. Blacks were treated as bad and in some cases worse, than when they were salves. Slaves had more "value" and you couldn't kill them indiscriminately.

Check out some of the photos that are out there of whites hanging black men right on up to the 50ties.

But I can't figure out how Republicans let the black vote slip away from them. All the Jim Crow south was supported by Democrat governors.

Seems like Republican's had the black vote till Barry voted against the Civil Rights Act. Even though Barry had supported previous versions of a civil rights act.

With one MAJOR caveat..... I'm talking the ones that were ALLOWED to vote. Mostly in the North.

In the South? Republicans couldn't even vote. There was no place to vote during Republican Primaries..... If they even had one.

And a Black Woman or, especially, a Black Man showing up to vote at a Southern Polling place....? Forget it. He'd be lucky to make it home alive. Which is doubtful.

Credit where credit is due.... Northern dimocraps weren't quite the racist scum their Southern Cousins were. They weren't all that bad. But they were far from being Republicans, there was some racism in them.

But what gets me is how they allowed them in the party at all. How could they tolerate the hatred and racism of Southern dimocraps?

University of Michigan Caves To Threats of “Physical Action” From Black Student Union, Will Spend $300K On Multicultural Center…

The University of Michigan will allocate $300,000 to renovate the Trotter Multicultural Center, in order to comply with the at least one of the Black Student Union (BSU) demands.

The decision comes after members of the University’s administration and members of the BSU met Friday to discuss all seven of the group’s demands, according to The Michigan Daily. The group had originally demanded that a new multicultural center be built on campus—the Trotter Center is currently located several blocks away from campus—and threatened “physical action” if its demands were not met, but senior and BSU Speaker Tyrell Collier said he was happy with the move.

“I can say that was a satisfying conclusion for the Multicultural Center demand because I know a building cannot be built within the span of a year or something, I know it needs to be planned out, designed, all of that stuff,” Collier said, adding that he was “very pleased with the allocation of that money for the renovations while they figure out the new building.”

I've noticed alot of liberals bringing up the jim crow era. Lets look at the statistics, from 1882-1968 there were 3446 lynchings. So after the liberals decided to help the black population. From 1976-2011 there was 262,621 black on black murders. There are 1876 average black abortions daily, 16 million since 1973. So yeah blacks are better off relying on liberals to represent them.

I will spend it reflecting on the wonderful achievements of Black Americans, with the notable exception of them voting 95% for the Affirmative Action President of the United States: Barrack Hussein Obama.

They really got that wrong and I suspect they know it now, because black prosperity simply did not occur under his two term regimes.

5) What has the Democratic Party's "help" over the last 40 years achieved for black Americans? The Democratic Party's line is that black Americans need their "help" to get by in a racist world. Here's an alternate theory: Buying into the Democratic Party's philosophy and accepting "help" has been one of the biggest reasons that black Americans lag behind white Americans. Black males are 6 times as likely to be in prison as white males and black Americans make up 49% of the homicide victims in America. 71.6% of all black Americans are born out of wedlock and black Americans are almost twice as likely to drop out of high school as white Americans, both of which help explain why the black poverty rate is almost 2 1/2 times the white poverty rate.
