IT WAS INEVITABLE: Speech control moves from the campus to the workplace

He wasn't a conservative, that's inarguable.

Well, no. IN 1952, people realized Conservatism didn't work. That was the point. And when Barry "Deep Down You Know He's Nuts" Goldwater tried to run on "Conservatism" (i.e. Fuck poor people to give more money to the rich) people outright rejected it. He lost 44 States. He'd have lost 49 if there weren't five inbred southern states still mad at LBJ for ending Jim Crow.

Then the "Conservative" movement realized that you could get the working class to swallow the rat poison of "Conservatism" by wrapping it in the juicy bacon of racism, homophobia, misogyny, and xenophobia. That's when you have some poor dumb white trash in West Virginia voting for Republicans because he done der doesn't want dem darkies getting them no Socialized medicine... but he'll still happily sign up for his Medicaid.
Oh, so we get to just make up shit? Cool.

I understood your alleged point. Leftists can't tell history straight; it doesn't support their agenda.

Wingnuts like to whitewash history...

The GOP is very good at getting stupid white people to vote against their own economic interests.

Which of these two guys do you think you are, Dave?

It's not in my economic interests to vote for a party that wants to take the money I earned and give it to people who didn't, while increasing the burdens on business so much they're forced to lay off workers or go out of business.

If you want to give more of your own money to the Treasury, the only thing stopping you is your own greed. You don't get to pat yourself on the back for generosity by putting your hand in other people's pockets.

I agree. I work very hard for my money, and I don't like seeing it go to corporate welfare and the Military Industrial Complex selling useless weapon systems that don't work terribly well.

Problem being, before I got there, the One Percent took a bunch of that money...

What scares you isn't communism or socialism, it's democracy.

Maybe you have a point. But the prog side is just as bad and maybe even worse. For the social justice agendas have produced people who are not that good who you can not even criticize for the fear of being destroyed. You have created endless detours from point A to point B. History will do what it always does if things get bad enough. In today's world a bullet worth a dime or so will be shot into the skulls of people who impede that connection. And the way from point A to point B will be much quicker. For better or for worse.

As always when I see your posts..

Does your doctor know you are off your medication?

Nobody but government takes money from you.

You know, government -- the entity you want to take even MORE money from you.

Dumbass.

Then you better get in a time machine and move to the year 20,000 BC, because civilized humans long ago came to understand that taxes and taking care of our weakest is the smart and correct thing to do.

Listen to yourself. You sound like a child who just learned the word, "tax".

If people kept more of the money they made, they'd have more to donate to those in need.

Leftists have a fucked up idea of generosity. No, you are NOT generous for voting for people who want to take my money away and give it to others in exchange for votes.

I don't know of any conservatives who oppose a social safety net. I have no problem taking care of people who can't take care of themselves. I see no need to spend money taking care of people who can work but refuse to, however.

But this is against Democrat policy. Democrats see the Treasury as their slush fund to buy votes with.

And if you don't accept that, you're a child. A particularly dense one.

What is money? Money is how we rate the value of labor. The fact that the one percent cheats the people who perform the labor at every opportunity is the problem, not that the government redistributes SOME of it.

Again, the real thing that scares you, that the people will get fed up with this and vote for a New Deal. They've done it before.

The hilarious thing is that Dave has spent much of his adult life sucking off the teet of the Military Industrial Complex, but whines about Taxes. How does he think that gets paid for.

It would be a wonderful day when the Schools have all the money they need, and the Air Force has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber.

There are indeed enough stupid, ignorant, and lazy people to vote in a New Deal. But you must be sad today -- Bernie's dropping out. Silly Commie! No totalitarianism for you!

I know where my salary came from. I worked hard to give the taxpayers good value for their money. But once again you pretend the Constitution and its mandates don't exist.

You sure will be happy when the left abolishes it, won't you?

Not ever gonna happen, Iosef.

I voted for Biden. So I'm good with that if he does.

Uh, sorry, I didn't vote for a bloated Military Industrial Complex to support Israel and the Oil Companies. Neither did most Americans.

PLease point out where Israel is mentioned in the constitution?

Since you guys are so fond of the Founding Slave Rapists, the two things Geo Washington warned against in his farewell address was a standing military and foreign entanglements.

Not to worry, Trump just embraced socialism yesterday with his Trillion Dollar Bailout of the Private Sector and workers.

We are all socialists now, buddy.

Wow, I'm surprised it took you this long to wave around your irrational Jew-hatred.

Geo. Washington was a Jew hater? Well, he probably was. I'm sure he wouldn't have said "let's subordinate America's interests to a bunch of Jewish squatters in the Middle East."
Not everyone is a retard like you.

Fucking hell, Commies are stupid.

If people kept more of the money they made, they'd have more to donate to those in need.
But, of course, they would make less, as taxes are a shared burden. And no, they would not give enough, which is proven, and which is why we have our social safety net in the first place.

I'm not going to have this idiotic libertarian debate with you. Get in a time machine and go back 150 years, and go enjoy losing that argument then.

So...your argument is government taking money away from people makes them more prosperous.

It's okay. You can acknowledge the utter dumbassery of that view.
