So why did the Arabs reject the generous offer, you ask? Because it was contingent on their accepting Israel’s right to exist. And since their primary goal is not their own land but the extermination of Israel, they rejected it.

I'm not sure 95% of which land you are referring to. However, the Palestinians have always rejected Israeli offers because they never offered the Right of Return of Palestinian refugees. It is a very valid demand and something to hold out for.
