So, it appears that the Fascist government of Canada cannot win on the message alone and have not made it a criminal offense to send or accept monetary donations to the Truckers Freedom protest.

This is what tyranny looks like and it is the very road that the United States is traveling right now.


Write your reps and Senators and demand that they put the Canadian government on notice that such quashing of freedom will be met with a closed border.

That won't happen until we get the House and Senate back into sensible hands, but it needs to be said to Canada.

If you think economic disruption from a few irate truckers was bad, just wait until the entire US border is closed to your economy.

Indeed and well stated. To be fair, a similar parallel happened in the southern states in recent years- fining Americans caught leaving jugs of water in the desert for illegals. I do not support cutting in line over those going the legal route who come from similar desperate conditions, but I had a hard time thinking somebody leaving food and water out for somebody in the desert deserves a fine, other than maybe the pollution factor with plastic.

My guess is to discourage the practice because it very well could lead to people being seriously hurt. What happens when you can’t leave food and water one day. Or you leave ten gallons of water and 1000 people show up? Or it draws animals, or, or, or.

Considering we do business with China and Russia, it certainly is not very consistent to shut down Canada for something that pales in comparison for the concentration camps China is utilizing.

I'm not sure we have any control with what other countries decide to do. I have no idea how Canada can stop the disbursement which is what the article says they are going to do but if they can, we have no control what is done in Canada.

I've known a lot of truckers in my life----many are old fat and out of shape as well----but I pity the fool that picks a fight with one of them. It's a good way to get crew bar up against your skull or for your vehicle to wind up mysteriously crushed like a soda can. Think many of us quiet lawabidding and police will either look the other way or help the truckers out to boot.
