Yeah, Twitter declared it was one thing and did one thing then turned around and began editorializing, censoring, etc....something USMB does not do. That is why Twitter is getting their special protection revoked.....ere is how USMB covers its ass to escape liability. Shield provided by section 230 of the cda. Terms and rules
But back to my question.....why has Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc... been selectively gifted by the Federal Govt with special protections yet lil' ol' USMB has not?

As I said, the US govt should not be in the business of selectively handing out special protections to 'monopolies'. Nothing Twitter owned / had on its own was taken from it. Twitter, welcome to being treated how so many others are treated every day across this country.
Twitter, you're welcome for this 'liberation' from any govt involvement (to include protecting your ass) in your bidness.
