It seems like many haven't seen this viral video and think it was about the rules.

Lies of GOP est. is spreading around Trump not knowing the rules.. It has nothing to do with the rules ..many Trump delegates were turned away and replaced by Teds.

.

"many Trump delegates were turned away and replaced by Teds."

And?

Private organization.

Not government.

Colorado Republicans don't want Trump as the nominee, and no one said the process must be "fair."

.

Guy admitted he "may" have missed a meeting. In short, just getting "elected" at one of the 3000 precinct didn't mean you absolutely had a vote at either the county caucuses of the state caucus.

He's a whiner, like Trump.

Well the Colorado people don't think it is fair who were taken off the list and replaced..

This is the same complaint for hundreds, this guy just happens to video it.. This is why the people in Colorado are pissed..They were duped ..

BS. You've posted a duplicate thread. The guy's claims were debunked. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, he thought getting elected at a precinct caucus gave him a vote at the state convention. In colo, it didn't work that way. He's ignorant of the rules and pissed off.

It is true that Colo's primary is "rigged" to give party insiders more clout. And, Colo doesn't have a primary were it's one person one vote.

Yeah, this is one guy, not "many Trump delegates". Do you know the difference between "one" and "many"?

Also, if this is the drama queen firebug, he was never a delegate at all, and it had nothing to do with his egotistic fantasies of some anti-Trump Illuminati targeting him. He screwed up all on his own.

Oh, okay. "I only have proof of one, but there are hundreds. HUNDREDS! Trump told me so!"

Prove it, or piss off.

He wasn't duped by anyone but himself.

ALL party primaries are "rigged" to favor the party leadership, just like all casinos are "rigged" to have the odds favor the house.

Colorado apparently DID have opportunities for "the people" to vote. They just weren't on April 9; they were back on March 1, and they were for representatives to the various conventions, rather than directly for the candidates.

Yes. I meant to put up this link on another thread, but I'll do it here instead.

With no GOP presidential straw poll, Colorado caucus a "gauntlet"

It's the best explanation of Colo's process that I've seen.

IF "fair" means treating each person's vote the same, then the fairest primary system would be totally open to cross-party voting, state-wide primaries. However, that is also the process that makes it most difficult for smaller, but motivated groups, like the tea party's, to primary out opponents. Personally, I don't like minority movements that thwart politicians who act in ways to benefit the most voters, but that's me. I'm not interested in being part of my state's gop party, because there are a good many white racists there, homophobes too. And the dems have a lot of black racists, and no shortage of homophobes either. And I think the tea party folks are the worst of the lot.

However, the way ALL state politics work is through parties. MAD wants a better dui law? They have to find a legislator to sponsor it. More than one, really. MAD goes to democrat 1 and goper 1 and says, "please sponsor my bill." Probably both do. But suppose you want to have school choice and vouchers? I do, but I don't mind people disagreeing. But suppose me and my neighbors go to my democratic legislator who won't sponsor our bill. Maybe we find a goper who wants to be our legislator, and we say, we'll campaign for you if you sponsor our bill. Low and behold, he gets elected. And he begins the process of talking to other legislators to get them to vote for our bill. THAT'S HOW IT WORKS.

Now the hypothetical me and my neighbors have expended time and energy, and probably donated money too, to help make the gop state party stronger. So, is it unfair for the hypothetical me to have more say in electing natl delegates than the real me, who'd be happy to take a pisser at both my state parties? I don't really think so.

Colo rewards the people who expend the most effort.

This info is for BenDog too:

Trump's not the only one calling this out it was the Sanders Camp too.

"It was an embarrassment on our part for sure," Palacio said in an interview.

Not unlike the situation with the state Republican Party and Donald Trump, Democratic officials are now under fire from Sanders supporters who suggest the system is skewed against them. Some are calling for Palacio's resignation.

The party incorrectly reported the results at 10 precincts in Denver County, an error that shorted Sanders nearly 4 percentage points in the projections for the 1st Congressional District, which awards eight delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

The state party website that reported the results — coloradocaucus.org — remained incorrect Tuesday, a day after The Denver Post questioned the party about the discrepancies in vote tallies.

Palacio said the he realized the website had "bad reporting a week or so after the caucus" but made no effort to correct it.

Firebug would refer to the dimwit old fart who made a video of himself torching some piece of paper that was allegedly some registration with the GOP, because he was "sinisterly" denied his place as a delegate . . . after having done none of the work necessary to be an actual delegate.

Your orders regarding my reaction to you and your Orange Messiah trying to destroy my country are duly noted, and summarily dismissed as being utterly without interest.

Having Bernie Sanders agreeing with you is in no way a positive.

Glad we've cleared this up.

"many Trump delegates were turned away and replaced by Teds."

And?

Private organization.

Not government.

Colorado Republicans don't want Trump as the nominee, and no one said the process must be "fair."

Private organizations shouldn't take tax payer dollars to hold primaries.

The DNC and the RNC should now just take that extra step and put forth their nominees themselves and not continue this bloody farce that primaries matter. Or that individuals have any say in the nominee.

Um, they don't "take taxpayer dollars". The states themselves choose to shoulder however much of the burden of primaries that they do. They have the option to let the parties themselves foot the bill, and they choose not to.

If you don't like it, then lobby your state government to stay entirely out of it. I doubt you'll get very far, but have at.

The parties have never pretended that individuals have any more say than they actually do (which is more than you think in your current tantrum, but less than you thought before this year's civics lesson).

Ya think the Anti Trump tards are mad now...wait until their joy of screwing Trump sinks in that MILLIONS of us WON'T vote for ANY other candidate BUT Trump and the election is just a matter of crowing Clinton thanks to their backstabbing Trump.

Oh don't go all pompous on me. I'm not having a tantrum whatsoever. Just pointing out the current flaws within the system. And I have no doubt more will be on the horizon when they change the rules again in the future.

Make no mistake, the buzz is all Kasich/Rubio now that Ryan has removed himself from the nomination process. To do this the RNC will have to reverse the 8 state rule that they put in place for Romney to screw over Ron Paul.

Both Trump and Cruz are moving targets for the RNC. They want neither of them. Watch your back.

Bottom line is if things go as horribly wrong as I fear and Trump is not the nominee the backlash will be nuclear. I've been running a lot of boards and comment sections and it's startling the sheer number of posters that will sit out, write Trump in not only for President but for their Senator and Congressman as well and/or sign in a straight D ticket.

There will be hell to pay for the RNC shitting down the throats of the electorate LAST time.

Interesting~ 8 State Rule I am going to google that in the morning...

.Anderson Cooper was really trying to get Cruz to say if he would consider Rubio as VP..Cruz did his usual snaky replies.
I can only take the CNN town hall tonight in small doses at a time..Creepy Cruz.... but want to see his family.

I can't believe you guys want some douche who hasn't even bothered to look at delegates until now. Talk about about not being prepared.

Cereal Killer had a thread out this morning about Trump going independent. It is still a possibility I hope.
I am on Twitter and see so many angry at the RNC / DNC...They can not do their usual behind the scene manipulations ... Social Media is too big for them to figure out quit yet..Trump has used it for free media coverage since he started.....lol

That's right my precious, the holy trinity of "a lot of boards and comment sections" that you post on (probably USMB, Freerepublic and stormfront) have a clear plan, write Trump's name in for senate, representative and President. As a liberal I just want to tell you that I hope you guys get a lot of traction, I couldn't think of a better outcome for the wingnut brigade.
