It has been 10 years and the federal minimum wage is still $7.25 per hour. Meanwhile, members of Congress make $174,000 per year.

Under Trump, before China released its bio-weapon, Americans were doing better: low unemployment, low inflation, increases in real wages, and a healthy stock market.

So Americans haven‘t always gotten the shaft. Before Biden incentivized not working, millions of Americans from poor backgrounds moved into the middle class with brains, motivation, discipline, and hard work.

The Democrats are fighting that upward mobility and putting more money into the economy to drive inflation, and pushing for high corporate taxes to strangle businesses and reduce wages and hiring.

If we can get Trump back in, and hold at least one chamber of Congress, we can start to reverse the damage of the last two years.
The end result is on the wall. Too many people within the same party are back stabbers. It's always almost.

Because it worked so well under Trump. LOL

All he had to do was call a Senator a name and they bent to his will. LOL

It didn't happen that way? You don't say.
Low unemployment - including record low for blacks. Real increase in wages. Healthy stock market. Border under control. Low inflation.

Yeah, I’ll take that over what Biden has done to this country.

If the stock market had been healthy Trump wouldn't have been begging for more and more and more pumping, even going as far as arguing for negative rates.

It was this pumping running the economy.

The two party system has failed us. Politicians get rich and American citizens get the shaft.
Yes, but other than that they are not so bad.

Just kidding, if you work in Congress they can sexually accost you at taxpayer expense.

Scum of the earth.

What pumping? He reduced the corporate tax to a globally competitive level. That allowed businesses to expand and increase profits, and the value of the stock market reflected that.

Scum of the earth.
No, apologize to scum

Scum has some benefits to the world.

well trump wasn’t getting rich from his office…he donated his salary and the company he founded actually lost money…his company couldn’t even benefit from the PPP loans during the pandemic

so yes it did get better

He charged more than his salary to keep staff and whatnots at his resorts.

According to the documents, the Secret Service was charged as much as $1,185 per room per night, nearly five times the government rate, which is set by the General Services Administration.

Please stop. No one is actually this ignorant.
No….what pumping? Certainly you do not mean the stimulus payments due to COVID when the Dems, led by Fauci, convinced everyone the economy had to shut down.

President Donald Trump said on Sunday that actions by the U.S. Federal Reserve have nicked U.S. economic growth and stock market gains by perhaps 30 percent, and that it should begin pumping money into the economy as it did during the 2007-2009 recession.

Trump, despite solid U.S. growth, says Fed should fire up crisis-era stimulus

And they did continue to pump billions and billions.

And yet some wonder why 90% of all wealth goes to the elites and wealthy? The worker gets shit on and all the gop and the loserterians ever do is suck off the rich. It is time to double the minimum wage so some of that wealth can spread more evenly.
My solution is to get rid of every illegal alien, which would naturally cause wages to go up. Not only that but you would be putting your countrymen first. MAGA.

It would also cause the economies of places like Florida, Texas, California, heck many states to collapse. The loss of money from retailers would cause a huge drop in the markets.

I'm good with all of that but it's not going to happen. You know it's not going to happen.

174K a year to start. Hard to believe. Good thing for them it's not merit based. ;)
I think they should all get $1 million a year but then they would have to pay all their own expenses, including mailing, travel, office space, staff, food and lodging. At 1 mil a year per rep, we would save a fortune and teach our reps how to budget at the same time.

What was the going rate for the rooms? He had a right to stay where he wanted to.

With that said, he wasn't making money from his office, which was the orginal point...it's estimate he scarficed $700 million in his own wealth...that doesn't include lose of money he could have made.

Historically, that's what statemen like Washington and Jefferson did...they considered themselves businessmen first, and public servants second...scarficing for the public good.

The Preamble of the US Constitution is not part of the Constitution and has no legal effect

The powers of Congress are limited to Art 1 Sect 8
That's a popular point of view where some agree and some don't (it doesn't matter to me btw). However that take won't stop some guy from arguing before the supreme court that the preamble is the foundation, the entire purpose of why the constitution what written -therefore having great import. Then after hearing the opposing side the justices can rule any way they want without consulting either of us.

What I'm saying is that there's more involved here than just what the constitution says --along w/ anyone's interpretation. The constitution means what most folks say it means.

And that's not counting all the bribes; insider trading; and Chinese/Ukraine kickbacks they slimy Swamp Creatures pocket.
