Israelis are not Semites

It looks like we share many of the same sentiments and are far from alone in our disgust over the way that the Gaza genocide is being both executed, excused and distorted.

I am not at all surprised but encouraged at the growing number of ethical and courageous Jews who are also not only repulsed by the murderous machination of the Netanyahu government and Israel's rabid right wing.

Israel wants regime change in every country it doesn't like. Israel is the one that needs a regime change, it needs to accept the independence of a non-HAMAS Palestine and Gaza, and to do war crimes trials against those who have done war crimes, and accept a secular government. If they could do that I would have no issue with Israel.
Their myopic madness is clearly not shared by all Jews or all Israelis. (1)

Nope. I have seen tons of Jews and Israelis who don't like their government. It is not anti-semitic to question, and oppose Israel. Those who are Zionists, and rabid Israelibots would want us to think it is, but their insults, and wordplay won't fool me.

Among the many reasons I am both alarmed and strongly opposed to the US Government's criminal complicity in Netanyahu's unbridled aggression and genocidal expansionism is the inevitable Blowback endangering all Jews around the world as well as America's G.I.s and US targets abroad.

Nothing could be worse for America's reputation and best interests as well as Israel's genuine long term security than their obvious willingness to allow the most widely known "surprise" attack of 7 October 2023 to occur as an opportunity to destroy then seize Gaza while exterminating and / or expelling Palestine's native residents.

All their actions have done is Alienate Israel and Jews around the world, and it will continue as long as this insane attempt at cultural destruction and genocide continues. The US should sanction, and cease all trade towards the Israeli government. Israeli war mongerers don't deserve a dime.
Amen!

Next to puerile and moronic name calling and obsessively howling "anti Semite", stubborn and chronic denial of irrefutable facts are among the most common ploys among those attempting to defend the indefensible.

Because I worked as a Psychiatric Case Worker on a large, inner-city, Emergency Psychiatric Unit, I feel more sympathy than vexation for our gaggle of snarky, evasive and insulting genocidal shills.

After all, imagine the loneliness of angry and hate filled individuals left with only a life of anonymously and compulsively insulting strangers hour after hour.

I certainly don't expect everyone to agree with my opinions and enjoy learning other views. It's entirely possible to hold other opinions and still discuss issues with civility.
There's always more to be learned even after spending time in the Middle East and studying its history for over 60 years
I hold the view if these people actually understood what was going on they would quickly shift their viewpoint when exposed to the truth. But sometimes, some people will keep crying that the sky isn't blue and keep their heads in the sand. Some people here on this site waste their time with childish insults and flame wars, so I just put them on the ignore list. Honest discussions are fine, we don't have to agree, but the bare minimum should at least be to not use childish insults and slanderous attempts to label anyone that they don't like as "Anti-Semitic".

The people who are acting like this want us to think they are saints, crusaders who are defending a "Holy" nation. What kind of Holy Nation wants to eliminate its neighbors, wipe out populations, and eliminate all dissent within its country?

Another individual seems to believe that you can become a Semite by learning Hebrew.

So, I can read Yiddish pretty well so I think I'll be a "self hating Jew" for the rest of the afternoon.....OK?

Now you are just being silly. No one is claiming that learning a foreign language makes one a member of a Semitic language-speaking peoples. Learning ASL doesn't make you Deaf, either.

You're right.

I realize that AI has a pro Israel / pro Zionist bias and that was the reason I chose it.

Tikkun is a Jewish humanitarian / peace organization but would have no reason to misrepresent the facts.

Enjoy,
Yiddish isn't a Semitic language, but here's some light reading

Israel wants regime change in every country it doesn't like.

It does? All of them? Doesn't everyone want the regimes we don't like to change?

I'd like the liberal moron regime in Canada to change.
And the commies in Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua. So what?

it needs to accept the independence of a non-HAMAS Palestine and Gaza,

Why?

and to do war crimes trials against those who have done war crimes,

I agree. But Hamas is hiding.

and accept a secular government.

Where? Why?

If they could do that I would have no issue with Israel.

Is that all? Don't you also need a pony?

Will Israel be able to survive if you have an issue with them?

Israel is the one that needs a regime change,
Many in Israel agree. That's one of the reasons they keep having to go back to polls to elect a new government.
... it needs to accept the independence of a non-HAMAS Palestine and Gaza
You mean like they did in 2005? And in 2008, 2000, 1993, 1947?
and to do war crimes trials against those who have done war crimes
Israel does.
, and accept a secular government.
Out of curiosity, why a secular government? Would you demand this of all other existing States as well?

It is not anti-semitic to question, and oppose Israel's policies and actions.
Fixed it for you. It is a better way to put it to avoid confusion with it being antisemitic to oppose Israel's existence.

Also noting that you said this:

One cannot serve two masters.
You do realize this is an antisemitic trope, yes? This is not a criticism of the policies and acts of Israel's government. This is also a double standard, as I assume you do not call for all dual-citizens to be stripped of their American citizenship.

I hold the view if these people actually understood what was going on they would quickly shift their viewpoint when exposed to the truth.
The problem being, of course, that those sitting over here, including me, believe the same.

I guess it is easier for you to shout into the echo chamber than it would be for you to answer things I asked.

.
Bull crap.
Projection!!!
In its simplest terms ...... yes.
You are the one shouting in the Zionist echo chamber all of us have endured our entire lives.
Correct.
Some of us have overcome the propaganda, you haven’t.
Exactly.
You’re supporting mass murder.
By default this is true, she is supporting mass murder.
How are you different from a German Nazi supporting Hitler?
No difference at all.
At least in their case, many had no knowledge of the Holocaust.
I'm sure this is true.
You’ve been informed of the Genocide, yet still support it.
Correct.
May God have mercy on your murderous soul.
I don't think God will forgive her for glorifying mass murder and the extermination of the Palestinian people. :nono: "The chosen people" doesn't excuse genoside ....... neither of or by the Jews.

God said He would gather them back to their land, and He did. He said it would become a nation in a day, and it did.
He said Christ will return to the Mt of Olives and the inhabitant will run to Him. And they will.
You can call them whatever you like. God calls them His Chosen. God isn't one bit confused about their pedigree.
'God' said no such thing Ram

no you didn't

Zionism is a political stripe, Judaism is a religion

One can subscribe to either w/out the other

~S~
Political Zionism is political. Religious Zionism isn't. Zionism is inherently tied to Judaism.

15th post
Fighting back against genocidal islamonazis isn’t genocide, regardless of how many times you cry about it.

I don't know sparky. Seems He said it, more than once. Here are a few:

Jeremiah 32:37: am angry with the people of Jerusalem, and I will scatter them in foreign countries. But someday I will bring them back here and let them live in safety

Ezekiel 36:24
For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and I will bring you back into your own land

Amos 9:14-15
I will restore My people Israel from captivity; they will rebuild and inhabit the ruined cities. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. / I will firmly plant them in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land that I have given them,” says the LORD your God.

*******************************************************************************************************************************

Isaiah 66:8
For in one day, suddenly, a nation, Israel, shall be born, even before the birth pains come. In a moment, just as Israel's anguish starts, the baby is born

Daniel even nailed the day.

******************************************************************************************************************************

Zechariah 14: On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.

******************************************************************************************************************************

Rev. 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen

And when Christ returns, He returns as the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

Is that why you support genocide? I doubt very much Jesus agrees with you. As a Christian, aren’t you taught to follow Jesus’ teachings?
