We are not discussing whether I support or do not support Israel's government (though I'd be happy to entertain that conversation). Follow along. We are discussing whether or not a statement such as "Zionists are eager to exterminate Palestinians" is a valid criticism pertaining to the policies of or acts committed by the Israeli government or if such statements are generalized defamations of "regular Jews".
It is a fact that Israel is seeking to wipe out the Palestinian region of Gaza, they've rendered it entirely leveled and have plans to seize the territory permanently (as they've always wanted), plus they've always encroached onto Palestinian lands to expand their settlements. Of course, Palestinians have done similar crimes against Israelis. I am not saying this from a perspective that Palestine is innocent, I am merely saying that the Israeli government is expansionist, and seeks the destruction of its neighbors through violent expulsion and/or killing.
I disagree, but this is (at least an attempt at) a valid criticism of the Israeli government and its policies and actions.

This is not a fact. This is an opinion based on a belief. My understanding of this opinion is somewhat hampered by the term "Palestinian region". How does one wipe out a "region"? Do you mean exterminate the people of Gaza? Do you mean forcibly removing some number of Arabs? Do you mean the voluntary emigration of the people of Gaza? Do you mean a temporary refugee space for the people of Gaza? Do you mean the application of permanent Israeli sovereignty? Do you mean the application of joint temporary Israeli + Arab states and/or international forces?
Gaza was abandoned by Israel in 2005. (And there is a solid legal argument that Israel renounced claim to the territory.) IF Israel had wanted to "seize" the territory permanently, why would they renounce and abandon the territory at a time when they had the legitimate legal sovereign claim to the territory (the only legal sovereign claim), only to try to take it back 20 years later? It makes no sense.
Which lands are "Palestinian lands"? Be specific. What are the borders between "Palestinian lands" and "Israeli lands"? What treaty documents those borders? What is the date of this treaty? Which governments signed the treaty documenting those borders?
I would argue that the crimes committed against Israelis in this conflict are radically different than the "crimes" committed against Arabs.

It surprises me that they still support Israel. I know it shouldn’t, but how in the world can any thinking person support mass murder of a defenseless occupied people? I thought we as a civilization had progressed beyond such evil. So unfortunately for me, this horrendous event hits me harder than for someone not naive in believing we’ve advanced beyond evil.

As an American, this country is filled with docile and brainwashed people on both sides to fight over culture war issues. Yeah, thats important somewhat, but stuff like this is the main elephant in the room that our system doesn't want people seeing.
