Even pro-Israel Wikipeadia acknowledges it. The biggest lie of all the many lies is that all the poor European Jews wanted was a little place to call their own, so they took a barren desert and make it bloom. Total complete horseshit.
Olive trees take decades to bear their best fruit. So when you cut down a Palestinian family's olive trees your are cutting down their main means of support which takes generations to nurture.
Okay maybe there is nothing we can do about it but we can dispense with the bullshit lies. It's a land grab. Period. nB4 I knock on your door and say you gotta leave because God gave your house to me.

"In the 1948 Palestine war, more than 700,000 Palestinian Arabs – about half of Mandatory Palestine's predominantly Arab population – fled from their homes or were expelled. Expulsions and attacks against Palestinians were carried out by the Zionist paramilitaries Haganah, Irgun, and Lehi, which merged to become the Israel Defense Forces after the establishment of Israel part way through the war.[a] The expulsion and flight was a central component of the fracturing, dispossession, and displacement of Palestinian society, known as the Nakba.[4] Dozens of massacres targeting Arabs were conducted by Israeli military forces and between 400 and 600 Palestinian villages were destroyed. Village wells were poisoned in a biological warfare programme and properties were looted to prevent Palestinian refugees from returning.[5][6] Other sites were subject to Hebraization of Palestinian place names."
