The interview doesn't say what you claim it says. It is a huge (and disingenuous) leap to frame the confusion and terror of that day, the lack of intelligence for those operating on the ground, the sheer shock of scale of the attack as deliberately targeting Israeli civilians in order to create some sort of excuse for retaliation.
Nonsense.
Yes, there was shock and confusion on the ground by the Israeli targets of both IDF and Hamas but Netanyahu and several Israeli officials knew of the attack over a year in advance (1) and deliberately employed their "Hannibal Directive" AND "Dahiya Doctrine to kill as many Israelis and Hamas fighters as possible.
The more dead the better and to make a more effective "False Flag" deception, IDF killed other Israelis to inflate the body count to attempt to justify the systematic extermination of Palestine's remaining native residents.
Of course, ALL wounds and deaths were blamed on Hamas (3) even if they were inflicted by IDF.
Finally, this is far from the first time that Zionists have gladly sacrificed the lives of other Jews for their delusional "Greater Israel" (4)

EXCERPT "Israelās military was aware of Hamas ' plan to launch an attack on Israeli soil over a year before the devastating Oct. 7 operation that killed hundreds of people, The New York Times reported Friday.
It was the latest in a series of signs that top Israeli commanders either ignored or played down warnings that Hamas was plotting the attack, which triggered a war against the Islamic militant group that has devastated the Gaza Strip.
The Times said Israeli officials were in possession of a 40-page battle plan, code-named āJericho Wall,ā that detailed a hypothetical Hamas attack on southern Israeli communities." CONTINUED
