The Hezbollah terror group fired an anti-tank missile from Lebanon at a church in northern Israel, wounding a civilian.
In a statement, Hezbollah claims to have targeted an IDF position near the northern community of Shomera.
But Hebrew-language media reports say the target is actually a church in the nearby depopulated Palestinian Christian village of Iqrit.
A civilian man in his 80s guarding the church was moderately wounded in the attack, reports say….

The war against Hamas in Gaza entered its twelfth week on Saturday, more than two months after Hamas massacred over 1,200 people in southern Israel and took 240 hostages on the morning of October 7, Simchat Torah.
On Sunday morning, the IDF announced that troops have located a weapons compound with dozens of mortar shells and hundreds of grenades embedded inside a civilian building.

Wednesday, 12:39 a.m.: Lebanese media reported the Israel Air Force attacked targets in the city of Bint Jbeil and the village of Yaroun in southern Lebanon.
Tuesday, 4:57 p.m.: Nine IDF soldiers were wounded in the area of Moshav Shomera by anti-tank fire from Lebanon.
The soldiers came under fire while attempting to evacuate a civilian who had been wounded in a previous attack on a church. One soldier was seriously wounded while eight were lightly to moderately wounded.
Tuesday, 4:46 p.m.: The IDF announced that a short while ago, a launch was identified from a location near a mosque in the town of Yaroun in southern Lebanon toward Israel.
"This is further proof of Hezbollah's cynical exploitation of Lebanese civilians and holy sites for its terrorist activity," the IDF stated. ...
