The Quran is a Christian text having Jesus as the “Messenger of Allah” with whom Allah sent his light into creation [Q7:157] [John1:4] and whom is to be taken as one lord with Allah [Q9:31] [John1:1].
The Quran repeats the New Testament christology in its bismillah [Q2:1]:
bis'mi - in the name
l-lahi - of Allah [of the Father]
l-raḥmāni - the most gracious [the Son]
l-raḥīmi - the most merciful [the Holy Spirit]
The Quran authors put the sin of “covering” (kufr) the truth and signs of Allah as a main Quranic theme to judge those who cover that Allah sent his son and spirit down into creation.
Quran has Jesus as the Messenger of Allah and how Islam was created to cover this to insert a new Islamic prophet, ironically making Islamic Muslims into coverers (kafirs)…
