That's true, Aris, that they said they would help if need be, but they feel that the Jordanians can handle it themselves. I believe a lot of the Jordanian pilots were trained here on American bases, and no doubt their Air Force is comprised of many darn good pilots. Only time will tell if the Israelis have to step in to help. Speaking of foreign Air Forces, I used to meet members of the Irasnian Air Force while at the Base Exchange in El Segundo in the middle 70's before the revolution.. When you asked them where they came from, they would never say Iran, but would say Persia. They were proud of their ancient heritage.
