Is Zero Considered An Actual Number?

Only one problem with your logic, zero divided by 2 is zero, however zero divided by 1 is also zero. Zero divided by 3 is also zero--- Back to square 1.
Did you read the article? A number that is divisible by 2 (no remainder) is considered even. A number that when divided by 2 has a remainder is odd.

An even number is a number which has a remainder of 0 upon division by 2, while an odd number is a number which has a remainder of 1 upon division by 2
 
I guess quantity describes how much you have of something and if you have nothing that still describes how much you have.
