Is your job safe from AI?

AI can help produce tools and materials that I need for my job but cannot wield those tools or install those parts. That's my job.

Dunno. But I piece enough $ together every month from various sources to get by with some beans, bullets and a dry roof. I don't have much overhead and don't require much. I'd like to get some land, a small homestead sort of thing. But it is very $$. I keep buying lotto tickets.

It is worrisome though. It is not all about me. Even if I can get by; what about the rest of the zombies in training out there?

White collar workers will be most affected. We blue collar workers will still be needed although many factory jobs have already been lost to robotics.
It's difficult to know what will happen. Robotics will replace a lot of menial tasks, and AI will replace more mental tasks.

Some tasks will remain because human to human interaction is important, while robotics will take time to do jobs that they find difficult.

AI probably can't outright replace me, but AI could absolutely make my wages go down, and it could reduce the need for multiples of me - no question.
