Is there a simple common thread that runs through the myriad, often confusing, health advice? Is it beets, fasting, more fruits and vegetables, less meat, special combinations of foods, number of meals per day? Is it possible that there is a simple, understandable process by which good health can be obtained? Is it out there "crying in the wilderness" of confusing opinion on this most important of subjects? Or are we so individually different physiologically that no simple common regime is possible? Thoughts?

I heard this morning that the FDA has a approved a pill that replaces the weight loss injections.

The FDA just approved the first GLP-1 weight-loss pill. Here’s what to know.

Live alone in the woods, live off the land, interact with no one.

Retire as early as possible. Avoid any conflict. Any situations that require problem solving should be avoided.

Your condition is worsening. You really need to seek help as soon as possible.

My experience has shown these are the most important things you can do.

-Get your blood work done. Check your testosterone. Check your lipids. Check your sugar. Repeat bare minimum once per year.
-Get on a lower-carb, higher-protein diet.
-Exercise at least three times per wk (1 hr per), combining cardio and strength training.
-Cut back on the booze (Hardest for me. God, I love my Bordeaux).

If you're 50 or over, get a colonoscopy. GET A COLONOSCOPY.

After that, it's all in the genes.

It's not rocket surgery. It is just a maintenance thing.

Situations that require problem solving force you to engage the brain and are helpful in warding off dementia.

I like your recommendations, but I’m wondering if I really need to get my testosterone checked.

Also, you’re missing a key one: maintain a healthy weight, or get to one if you’re obese.

Haha! I can't speak for the ladies. Y'all have your own thing goin'.

I just wanted to keep it simple for him.

Doc visit, blood work, diet, exercise.

I don't wanna overload the guy.

Check your boyfriend's testosterone levels.
