The symbol of the V is a well known and established symbol used by such groups as the young socialist alliance and other left leaning groups so it is not out of the question that those in AntiFa would know of its use or make use of it...The other thing to keep in mind is that Antifa has its roots if I remember correctly in the communist arm of East Germany. Yes it has come to be associated with being derogatory to others in the commonwealth nations but the symbol is much older and has deeper meanings to others...
