It seems that the GOP candidate Mitt Romney (who started Bain Capitol) has a small problem.

Bain Capitol bought 51 percent of Sensata (a company in the U.S. that makes car sensors) and then decided (after they posted record profits this year) to sell the company to China. Not only did the workers have to train the Chinese workers flown in, but the U.S. Flag was taken down during their time at the factory for training, and oh yeah...........all of the equipment is being shipped RIGHT NOW to China, after the U.S. workers trained them how to operate it.

Bain Capitol owns 51 percent of this company. Mitt RobMe owns 8 million dollars worth of shares in that company, and stands to benefit greatly if that company is sold to China (it was).

Is this how tough Mittens is going to be on China? By outsourcing even more of our jobs there?

FREEPORT, Ill. — Employees at Freeport’s Sensata Technologies plant are reaching out to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, in attempts to save their jobs.

The Massachusetts-based Sensata Technologies has announced it plans to close the Freeport plant and outsource more than 150 jobs to China.

Sensata is owned by Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm co-founded by Romney in 1984. Romney served as CEO of the company from 1984 until 2002, according to SEC filings.

Oh yeah..............by the way................when Obama told China that they couldn't sell their tires by undercutting the ones sold in the U.S. and imposed tariffs? One of the factories saved was in the same city.

Romney wants to send your jobs to other countries. Obama wants to keep them here.

Are you really going to vote for a vulture capitalist?

I'm just watching that, people losing their jobs as we speak due to Bain and Romney greed.

Sad.

I've been following this. The company was non union also. Romney has a lot of nerve calling himself an American parking his money off shore to evade taxes and selling out American workers. He is disgusting.

And the really fucked up thing is that this quarter the company posted RECORD PROFITS.

How can it be good for the country if we sell off the companies that are doing good?

If this is what Mittens knows about saving jobs, then he doesn't need to be elected president.

Many Americans are willfully ignorant. They are easily convinced that Romney's needs outweigh their own.

When Romney was runing Bain, his responsibilty was to do what's best for Bain, not the country. It's a simple concept, I don't understand why the left doesn't get it.

many liberals are willfully ignorant. TI (Texas Instruments) owned that company until they sold it to an affiliate of Bain in 2006. Long after Romney was gone. Three of the top execs there are now Democrats, 2 of which are openly supporting Obama.

I know that's what you guys are counting on, but the polls suggest otherwise.

Romney had nothing to do with this. Why keep running on the same falsehoods? And it is getting out it is just that. A Bain affiliate bought Sensata from TI in 2006, long after Romney was gone. And it some of its top executives are Democrats, 2 of which openly support Obama. Why is it that Dem's aren't being blamed for this? Because you are hoping to pin another lie which is gonna backfire big time.
It will be remembered after this election as well, ya know. The dishonesty by the liberals pushing these things is only hurting the Dems for future votes. Keep it up.

Democrats have run out of real issues. They tried recycling the old issues but that didn't work so now they have to make some up.

He's running for president, yet he's going to make a lot of money (he owns 8 million in shares of Sensata) when Bain capitol (who owns 51 percent of Sensata, which is why they're selling it), and yet he says he's gonna be tough on China.

Wanna talk about the outsourcing to China (from a company that posted record profits last quarter btw.)

How about the fact that the AMERICAN workers had to train the Chinese for 10 days, and during that time, the AMERICAN FLAG was taken down from the grounds?

How about the fact that the equipment that builds those sensors (which are supposed to keep your car safe btw) is now in China?

If Mittens had a sack, he'd tell Bain that is bad for business (as well as his run for the presidency).

Talk about ignoring the facts, to tell a pathetic lie. This company had planned to move to China before Bain got involved. Their major market is in Asia and it makes economic sense for them. Like it or not that is what happens in a global market when trasnportation is getting more expensive. The EPA and other government regulation are responsible for running more manufacturing out of the country than any CEO.
