Is Romney tough on China? What about Sensata?

It seems that the GOP candidate Mitt Romney (who started Bain Capitol) has a small problem.

Bain Capitol bought 51 percent of Sensata (a company in the U.S. that makes car sensors) and then decided (after they posted record profits this year) to sell the company to China. Not only did the workers have to train the Chinese workers flown in, but the U.S. Flag was taken down during their time at the factory for training, and oh yeah...........all of the equipment is being shipped RIGHT NOW to China, after the U.S. workers trained them how to operate it.

Bain Capitol owns 51 percent of this company. Mitt RobMe owns 8 million dollars worth of shares in that company, and stands to benefit greatly if that company is sold to China (it was).

Is this how tough Mittens is going to be on China? By outsourcing even more of our jobs there?

FREEPORT, Ill. — Employees at Freeport’s Sensata Technologies plant are reaching out to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, in attempts to save their jobs.

The Massachusetts-based Sensata Technologies has announced it plans to close the Freeport plant and outsource more than 150 jobs to China.

Sensata is owned by Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm co-founded by Romney in 1984. Romney served as CEO of the company from 1984 until 2002, according to SEC filings.

Oh yeah..............by the way................when Obama told China that they couldn't sell their tires by undercutting the ones sold in the U.S. and imposed tariffs? One of the factories saved was in the same city.

Romney wants to send your jobs to other countries. Obama wants to keep them here.

Are you really going to vote for a vulture capitalist?

Talk about ignoring the facts, to tell a pathetic lie. This company had planned to move to China before Bain got involved. Their major market is in Asia and it makes economic sense for them. Like it or not that is what happens in a global market when trasnportation is getting more expensive. The EPA and other government regulation are responsible for running more manufacturing out of the country than any CEO.

Actually, they bought the company, waited until it became a success, and then (after it posted record profits) decided to sell it to China.

Bain owns 51 percent of Sensata.

Romney owns 8 million dollars in shares.

He used to run Bain capitol.

Is this how he's gonna be tough on China?

Sounds like he's gonna outsource the whole country if elected.

You might think I'm stupid, but I think you smart enough to know that a company doesn't move manufacturing operations from one country to another over night. It takes years of planning. Well on the other hand, I might be giving you too much credit.

It was bought not that long ago. Mittens has said that he likes to buy companies and let them grow, then "harvest" them.

Sensata posted record profits last quarter.

Why are American jobs being sent to China?
