after seeing a Fox News US segment on how Boeing holds a duopoly in the airplane manufacturing business,
and factoring in that interest in airplane travel will only increase,
i realized that the conclusion of the Fox News guest was correct : Boeing (sort of) has a license to print money.

i wonder what you people here think of Boeing stock at this time.

I used to work for McDonnell Douglas as a F-15 specialist over in Saudi Arabia. That jet did very well for the company and the employees. But when Boeing took over, i could see the writing on the wall, that military and civilian aviation doesnt mix. At the time i left my stock was worth over $900 a share, which i sold, now i think the stock is just over $200 a share and probably going south some more.

A month later, Clinton was in China, where she jubilantly announced that the aerospace giant would be writing a generous check to help resuscitate floundering U.S. efforts to host a pavilion at the upcoming World’s Fair.

Boeing, she said, "has just agreed to double its contribution to $2 million."

It has basically stayed stagnant since the drop due to COVID, it is a lot per share and very little chance of much return. One could do far better with their money with only a bit more risk involved.
