Tensions are high on all sides of the confrontation, and a calm voice of reason is desperately needed to settle the situation down in Ferguson.
Unfortunately, what Ferguson got was MSNBC host and professional race-baiter Al Sharpton, who once again is using a local tragedy to sow his seeds of racial division and animosity.
But Sharpton isn’t exactly being welcomed with open arms in Ferguson. He has been heckled more than once, with references to his corrupt past. The Ferguson Mayor, along with several other community leaders, really don’t want him there anymore, according to Newsmax. Sharpton's just dull enough to be influenced by other....more clever and zealous employees at MSNBC. So in fairness, he may not fully realize what he's doing and more importantly, why..

Let's face it. The poll here suggests that the LGBT singsong "most Americans support gay marriage" is a lie: Should Churches be forced to accomodate for homosexual weddings Page 613 US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum

And recent murmurings here about the final decision in the Supreme Court being about children and not adults in post 151 here: 11th Circuit Gears Up For Gay Marriage Case SCOTUS Page 16 US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum means that traditional marriage proponents have a new and very potent legal defense as to why gay marriage in fact DOES harm people..

Last nights' Rachael Maddow show was all about equating christians (all of them presumably?) with white supremicists' movement. And MSNBC in general has been running nonstop racially inciteful coverage intended to fan the flames instead of calm them down.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to deduce that as support for gay marraige wanes in the general public, while lower federal courts act in contempt of Windsor on the specific Finding on question of law in Windsor: "Do states have the power to deliberate and Find on gay marriage or not?" Windsor was clear that they do.. : Gay Marriages in States Forced by Circuit Courts to Allow Them Are Not Legal Page 29 US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum LGBT activists like MSNBC will be in desperation-mode... Perhaps desperate enough to incite murders and revenge killings and tensions between the races in general in order to tag on the cult of LGBT's movement onto a "live civil rights issue" in order to put the jolt paddles back on their lifestyle movement "as civil rights movement"?

The "churches" thread link above is the most rattling I assume. Or at least one that Maddow took on last night in her show. Her coverage of the Scalise issue appears to paint all christians with a wide brush of "white bigots"; while her pal Sharpton works the bellows on the black folk caught up in the hysteria and media-machinations. I wonder if Maddow herself is a bigot because apparently she's forgotten the huge numbers of blacks (and hispanics) who are also christian? How will she pound the faith out of those demographics when the chips are down I wonder? Rejection of religion in general, as associated with "those evil whites"??

In the end all that this is heading towards is a Big Supreme Court FIGHT this year. It's "sending a message" "If you find on behalf of children (see link above on "11th.." etc.) with marraige and Uphold Windsor 2013 that states get to decide, then WATCH OUT!".. Seems a bit odd for a movement so cock-sure that "Most Americans approve of gay marriage".. Why not let them show that at the voting booth as current law says they are empowered to choose upon?

I think it's insidious and depraved as the movement itself. This movement, this LGBT cult has always employed..."smoke and mirrors"..."fake it till you make it"... "the ends justify the means"... Now they're willing to pit blacks' deaths against police deaths in order to add new fire to their fake "civil rights" movement by proxy?

Let's pull the veil off the ruse and get to the bottom of what's really going on here...

I don't think it's appropriate for you to call Rachael Maddow that.

I don't have TV any more (does anyone?) but no, as a commercial enterprise neither MSNBC nor any other channel race-baits to fulfill any kind of political "agenda". Nor does Fox Noise race-bait to push an "agenda" when it tries to make "stories" out of a "knockout game"/Van Jones/hip hop barbecues/New Black Panthers etc.

I don't know what the fuck is cryptic about this, it ain't something complicated --- these are commercial enterprises. That means they're in it to profit -- literally, in dollars. "Agendas" don't pay no bills --- Attention does. That's what ratings are all about. That's what Limblob's "slut slut slut" was all about. Race-baiting, sex, disaster, conspiracy, all of these garner attention.

When you have attention, you make money. Simple as that. And they will use whatever works on you to get it. Stop overthinking the puppeteer into some weird paranoiac conspiracy that makes no sense and realize you're being played for an entirely different and mundane purpose.

Um, the board straw poll you just cited doesn't ask any questions about support for gay marriage. Rendering it irrelevant to that question. While say, Gallup, does ask about gay marriage. And they show majority support. Easily.

Same-Sex Marriage Support Reaches New High at 55%

Same-Sex Marriage Support Reaches New High at 55

And there are many, many more polls that show similar results. So lets face it: you don't like the polling results so you're ignoring them. But your willful ignorance doesn't actually change anything.

By 'recent murmurings', you mean your own claims? Why would the USSC be swayed by the random claims of some guy on a message board. Especially when they've explicitly contradicted you on the matter, finding that children of same sex parents are harmed by their parents NOT receiving recognition for their marriages;

And it humiliates tens of thousands of children now being raised by same-sex couples. The law
in question makes it even more difficult for the children to understand the integrity and closeness of their own family
and its concord with other families in their community and in their daily lives.....

.....DOMA also brings financial harm to children of samesex couples. It raises the cost of health care for families
by taxing health benefits provided by employers to their workers’ same-sex spouses. And it denies or reduces
benefits allowed to families upon the loss of a spouse and parent, benefits that are an integral part of family
security.

So on the question of gay marriage and whether or not denying it to same sex parents hurts their children...the courts gave an explicit YES. You say otherwise?

So what? You citing yourself has no relevance to any USSC case.

The obvious problem with your reasoning being that the Windsor court never even mentions gay marriage bans in their ruling. Making your assertion that they ruled they were constitutional an act of wanton imagination. Nor was the court asked the question 'do states have the power to deliberate and find on gay marriage or not'. The question solved in Windsor was about the applicability of federal law. Not State.

As Justice Roberts makes ludicrously clear in his dissent:

The Court does not have before it, and the logic of its opinion does not decide, the distinct question whether the States, in the exercise of their “historic and essential authority to define the marital relation,” ante, at 18, may continue to utilize the traditional definition of marriage.

Justice Roberts
Dissent, Windsor V. US.

Making it quite impossible for lower courts to be in contempt of Windsor when they overturn gay marriage bans as unconstitutional. As the portion of Windsor where the courts found gay marriage bans constitutional is completely imaginary and doesn't exist.

Remember, Silo...and this is important: you don't know what you're talking about.

the obsessed rarely do.

Al Sharpton has been accused many times of ramping up this racial crap. And deaths are happening as a result. There is no denying it. He works at MSNBC. He believes I'm sure that he will be the next Martin Luther King. I think he feels slighted...like he was a great civil rights leader who didn't get due recognition "while times were hot" on the topic. So, since a black president is the ultimate manifestation of a cooling trend and in general race relations getting better, he steps in at the goading of ....coworker(s) to work the bellows and fan the flames?

Maddow's piece last night drove my suspicions to a new level when she was attempting to tie in "white bigotry" with "christians...christians...christians..." I forget how many times she said that word and accentuated it with forte' in her voice. If I was working a puzzle, I'd say those two pieces just clicked together.

Yeah, Silo....but you're an irrational person. You imagine things that don't actually exist. You ignore anything that doesn't ape what you want to believe.

Just look at the absurd pseudo-legal gibberish you offered at the opening of this thread. Where you ignored the USSC and their assessment of harm to children due to a lack of recognition of the marriages of their same sex parents. You imagined that the USSC would reverse themselves on the matter because of 'murmerings' on a message board thread.

With those 'murmurings' being you citing yourself. And the USSC has never expressed an interest in your personal opinion as their basis of their rulings.

And lastly, you ignored Gallup or any other polling agency that demonstrates strong support for gay marriage (leading by 12 to 19 points, depending on the poll) because of a USMB straw poll that doesn't even ask about gay marriage.

All of which is wildly irrational.

So what possible value would your impressions of a show that you claim to have watched have for anyone ekse, given how consistently useless and spectacularly irrational your impressions are for issues we can verify?

I've wondered this myself. Why do L's have to support T's, and vice-versa. Who made up that grouping, and where can we find them?

What is the LGBT agenda?

Currently it is to win the divide in the lower courts in the pending gay marriage case due before SCOTUS.

It's momentum has lagged. So their usual singsong of "CIVIL RIGHTS!" needs some renewed zip. Having difficulty getting that zip from a movement that has been exposed as a lifestyle instead of a race, they need a good racial stir to shove their "civil rights" issue through by proxy.

Nothing like a bunch of blacks upset to whip the US Supreme Court into a kneejerk decision "in favor of civil rights" to the LGBT petition.

It's calculated to have that effect. The last thing they want the Court to do is quietly sit down and really deliberate without a sense of urgency or fear, the longterm ramifications of forcing states to ratify gay-lifestyle marriage against their Will and against a state's best interest>>: (see post 151) >> 11th Circuit Gears Up For Gay Marriage Case SCOTUS Page 16 US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum

Yes, there is the smell of BATSHIT CRAZY attached to that, now isn't there, with a tinge of strawberries.

I agree, I held back until Maddow's piece last night. Then something "clicked". Her zeal to tie in "white bigotry" with "christians" (all of them?) just flew out of her mouth like a big red flag given the accusations against Sharpton.

I thought "now why would she be so exuberant about tying white bigots in with christians of all walks?" My next rational thought was "why christians?..aren't many of them black and hispanic..minorities..?"..Then I thought about christianity itself and Maddow's #1 hands-down biggest pet cause of all time and I went "oh! So that's why...".

You know, she and Sharpton hang out at the same lunch room so thought there might be an outside chance that the two of them might have compared notes on their two respective pet causes.

Currently it is to win the divide in the lower courts in the pending gay marriage case due before SCOTUS.

You do realize that there are 6 district courts on one side of this issue and 1 on the other, right?

It's momentum has lagged. So their usual singsong of "CIVIL RIGHTS!" needs some renewed zip. Having difficulty getting that zip from a movement that has been exposed as a lifestyle instead of a race, they need a good racial stir to shove their "civil rights" issue through by proxy.

Actually, no ...it hasn't. Florida just lost its appeal with the USSC denying its stay like 5 days ago. With Florida joining the 36 States that now recognize gay marriages. The first gay marriage was performed in Miami Dade county....yesterday morning.

So your assumption of a loss of momentum is, like the entirety of your argument, imaginary.

Huh? The gay marriage debate has been going on for about a decade. Are you honestly arguing that the USSC justices have NEVER thought about the the long term ramifications of marriage equality? Because Justice Kennedy in Windsor definitely seems to have given it some thought:

And it humiliates tens of thousands of children now being raised by same-sex couples. The law in question makes it even more difficult for the children to
understand the integrity and closeness of their own family and its concord with other families in their community and in their daily lives....

....DOMA also brings financial harm to children of samesex couples. It raises the cost of health care for families by taxing health benefits provided by employers to their workers’ same-sex spouses. And it denies or reduces benefits allowed to families upon the loss of a spouse and parent, benefits that are an integral part of family security.

It clicked according to you. And you're an irrational person who imagines thing that don't exist. While ignoring anything that contradicts you. Why then would what 'clicks' in your head have any relevance to the world the rest of us live in?

What is the LGBT agenda?
To make everyone suck a dick, of course. Whenever two gay men file a joint tax return, it makes their male neighbors want to butt hump other dudes.

This is scientific fact.

But I happen to sell an anti-gay-impulse wave generator, and it can be yours for the low, low price of $15,000. All you have to do is flip the power switch, set the HETERO dial to 11, and point it at your crotch.

If two gay married dudes move into your town, give me a shout. I'll overnight it to you.

Do YOU have a rational reason why Maddow was trying to tie in the blanket word "christian" with blanket phrase "white bigots" over and over in her piece last night?...you know, given her network's zeal for fanning the flames of racial tensions of late?..
