They were pardoned because Biden knew there were likely crimes there, some that may even circle back to his administration. Since you like referring back to the Nixon pardon, that was much the same. Nixon was never formally charged, but most feel as though he was guilty. He would have never been pardoned if the writing wasn’t on the wall. Same goes for these folks. I might also add, that the preemptive pardon was quite different since Nixon was a sitting President.

It is rich that Miley stated that he didn’t want to spend time defending himself against nefarious charges. Democrats most certainly know EXACTLY how that works.

I never said otherwise. Pardons do not apply to only Presidents. So many of the posters on this forum would have failed my government class I taught in high school because many have apparently never read the Constitution.

They keep running with this crazy narrative, otherwise that suggest that the newly appointed government might go after them for nothing (which would be illegal), when in reality it was to protect them if the government were to look into the wrong doing of these potential crooks or traitors, and so Joe gave them a pre-emptive pardon in order to shield them from being investigated for their wrong doing, and their turning state's evidence against Biden if the heat was applied.

So basically every move Joe made was to strengthen up the barriers that could lead to him and his family encase those barriers put in place were to start falling like domino's.

The evidence that he elevated himself to illegal caudillo acting as president without constitutional authority is hard to refute -- he openly bragged about doing so.
