No. Based on what Jesus said, his vision was people taking care of those at their door and those they met along the way.

The government robs each citizen of the opportunity to love and care for one another. The best way to teach a population to become indifferent towards other individuals is to tell them they aren't needed--the government will handle all. People reach out in love. Government reaches out for power over the downtrodden. Their goal...nudge the middle class into the downtrodden population as well.

Interesting comparision. The hippies - "make love not war" - have no poblem with Hitler - Hitler has a problem with hippies, what is able to cause heavy problems for them in concentration camps. And yes: Jesus - who was never using drugs - is a hippy and a socialist too; what doesn't mean god supports or not supports "sociaIism" - whatever this is in the end. I see in Trump for example a man, who supports a socialism for the superrich. And I wonder why people, who reduce their view to the world (for example by using drugs or by denying spirituality and/or god) are thinking, their reduced way to see the world contains everything what is important.

Jesus had no economic theory beyond his saying we should give away all our material possessions. He expected the end times to be imminent so economics didn't matter.

He put the man to a test. Otherwise you’d have to ignore the hundreds of references in the OT and NT to wealth. You can’t parse the Bible to suit your purposes.

The question was only about Jesus. There are many voices in the OT and NT, not just one.

You can’t separate the OT and the NT. Besides, there are plenty of examples in the NT which describe the same thing.
