What's hilarious, is YOUR compatriots murdered between 65 and 80 million people during stalins purges, and during WWII, after the Germans surrendered at stalingrad, only around 6,000 made it home, out of the 230,000 odd that were captured.

You see, I’m not just an American—I’m a Russian-American. My grandfathers helped build the Soviet Union and fought for it; one of them died in 1942. The one who survived helped rebuild the devastated country and, together with my parents, built a new life.

You, like the vast majority of americans, at best read the headlines of anti-soviet articles in newspapers—or rather, you didn’t even read them, you just heard those headlines on TV.
And that was enough for you, like any american with a swollen ego, to convince yourself that you had grasped the truth.
