Is it possible that Trump loses the fire in his belly at a time he most needs to fight?

Shooting someone's ear from less than 1/4 of the weapon's effective range with a scope, with a clear line of site, and 6 to 8 tries?

Not that hard.

The sniper that head shotted Thomas in one try did it from farther way than Thomas was firing at Trump.
With 0% chance of killing your target?

Again, Thomas had an unobstructed view, a stationary target, relatively close range at less than 1/4 of the effective range of his weapon and less than 5% its max range......with a scope, firing prone and stable.

6 to 8 times.

Its hard to believe an experienced shooter would miss a kill shot 6 to 8 times under those conditions. Either Thomas wasn't a good shot, or he missed intentionally.

Trump turned his head at the precise moment the bullet was incoming, and was saved. Thank you Gd.

He barely turned his head. And the shots were coming from the direction he was facing. The shot was wide and the left. It was going to hit his ear either way. The only question is how directly.

Barely Is what saved him. And it wasn’t going to hit his ear either way. A half-inch to the right, and he would be dead today. (And you would be happy,)

However, the fighter that America.so desperately needs and wants to support cannot lose his mojo. Thoughta?
Wait..........you think he's fighting for America? Awwwww, that's cute. Sorry, he's fighting to win the election so he can stay out of jail.

No, 'barely' is what saved his ear. The shot was never going to impact his head. it might have hit the meat of his ear more directly rather than just nicking the edge.

The shot was wide and to the left.

The Dems have gotten even WORSE since the attempted murder of Trump.

Every night I go to bed thinking Dems have sunk as low as humanly possible….and then I wake up the next day.

Keep your venom up, Dems. All you are doing is ensuring a Trump win.

P.S. To all those who live in blue cities: don’t sit near windows on Election Night.

FFS. There’s nothing there that warrants jail. Now Biden on the other hand..well, he’s saved due to his dementia.

You completely ignored my point. In the absurd scenario you are trying to sell, the shooter is trying to wound Trump to increase his popularity. Killing Trump would be a disaster from the shooter’s point of view. So how could the shooter be certain Trump would not be killed or mentally incapacitated? If the shooter’s aim was off by a centimeter he would have failed and remember Trump’s head was in motion.

Also let’s see your evidence that Crooks was conservative.

Well he needs to find a balance. His campaign team have him more mature this time around and his outreach has been better. I suppose who he chooses for V.P will be telling. If it is Rubio or Scott, or the longer shots Tulsi Gabbard, or Vivek the W.H is all but his IMO.
That VP decision has to be made, some time today....

Nah. Trump is naturally combative. Even after an ego death like losing the election, he pouted for a while and then come back with the same hapless lies and random bullshit.

Give him a bit of time and he'll be back to the same schtick he's been pushing since at least 2012.
The Trumpsters don't want to hear him discuss unity. To them, that's weakness, capitulation. The days of unity are gone for them.

They'll put up with him when he does it, though, and they'll just assume he's playing for votes.

The strongman-based authoritarian pseudo-theocracy they want is actually within their grasp now. They're not going to change a thing.

He has already decided to chage his speech to a more consiliatory tone. I'm not saying he is wrong in doing so, but is it possible that he loses his edge and that fire in his belly after this failed assassination attempt and just months before the election? A more presidential Trump is great, especially a unifier the West could use. However, the fighter that America.so desperately needs and wants to support cannot lose his mojo. Thoughta?
I doubt it. If I were predictiing, I'd predict that he'll have a hard time sticking to his pledge of a unifying speech. The speech may be unifying, but he can go off script without turning into a gaffe machine.

Nowhere close to what we see with Biden. That senile old man can barely complete a sentence.

Yes, that was my point, but I see it was unclear.

Unlike Biden, Trump can go off his script without saying crazy stuff like "we beat Medicare." He can also get back on script without reading the stage directions on the teleprompter out loud.

Sorry, I read it wrong. We are in agreement.

Were Trump to actively seek to moderate and "unify", he would have the best chance of picking up "undecideds". His opponent is so unpopular that the small gain could be enough to get him elected. The two duopoly choices remain horrible, nonetheless.
