And in LA (as of this), 8.6% of eligible voters turned out to vote today in municipal elections.

As one of the 91.4 % I could point out those voters who are ignorant of local community college board member candidates and their positions on the relevant issues probably should go to the gym instead.

When it comes to bigger political contests, I still believe many non-voters see DC the same way Huey Long did nearly a century ago as a restaurant with Republican waiters along one wall and Democrats along the other. But, no matter which party delivers your order, "all the grub comes from Wall Street's kitchen"

Huey would know how to use the internet to FLUSH enough Republicans AND Democrats from DC to give democracy a fighting chance in the US.
