Is China mixed One Party Centralized Government with Free Market Capitalism Better Then Ours?

China's leaders are chosen from the brightest in the country and have the power to make instant decisions based on logic.
Based on greed and a lust for power you mean

for the most part party leaders from village the politburo are corrupt officials amassing wealth at the people’s expense

and because they have so much unchecked power their mistakes are enormous

none if which would interest me except that through groupies like donald the chicoms want to spread the chinese communist experiment to western nations

It still can't be denied that China's system has allowed the country's wealth to trickle down to the masses.
Other people in other countries are still waiting, hoping, and rising up against their governments in violent protest.

I know will get many trolls making troll remarks, but this is a legit question.

Our government can’t even accomplish the smallest tasks and our legislators are so deadlocked that the only thing that comes out of Washington is wasteful spending and crony capitalism. They look to appease the loudest woke moron, instead of making progress. Out Politicians are so easily bought, that the big business can get then to legislate out their competition. The system is broken and we all know it. Not just in Washington, but at state and local levels. There is not a big city in this country that is run well.

On the business front, our markets seem less free then ever. Starting a small business is harder than ever. Working hard used to be all you needed to do, but not so much now. Colleges and student loans are Ponzi scheme.

Then you have China… everyone knows about it’s atrocities, but their government actually gets things done… their economy is still the fastest growing in the world and their middle class is still rapidly expanding.

It is an important question to ask, is their mix of one party centralized government with a free market better then our Representative Republic with free markets?

I'm guessing you have never been to China.

It's only better in that the top dogs are absolutely untouchable in China and they are able to use what practically amounts to slave labor.

They have no original ideas or technology. They have to steal it all from us.

Not as much as Xi wants you to think

Following the opening of the US market there was economic progress that included ordinary workers

But since Xi that has changed

There are numerous economists who claim China's economy has already collapsed and we're just waiting for the fallout to hit. The central government has been trying to artificially deflate the property market bubble but believe Beijing will not be able to stop it as the damage is already done.

Here CNN talks about it but they're being conservative in their estimation of the situation.

China was already facing an economic slowdown in 2022. Now here comes Omicron
Slow down because of Omi

Interesting… not sure I buy they are collapsing. Economic slowdown I can see, but that could be slowing down from their rapid growth since the 90s.

Xi's change was in broadening China's market to the US, to include China's domestic market. That was done to prevent damage to China's economy in case the US market faltered.

The US market is booming and progress continues.

China provide low quality cheap goods to the US market as well as the highest quality goods if demanded of the market.

Like I said, some see it that way. Personally my crystal ball is in the shop for repairs so I'm having to use my back up which isn't as reliable.........

Live over there for a while and let us know how it is. Here is a clue. Far more Chinese ESCAPED there to live here than citizens who are free to leave here to live there.

Think about that.

Has there been a documented case of any American black ESCAPE American tyranny with all of its racism thank burger kings to live in Cuba?

There is the answer

You're ignoring the fundamental difference between American neoliberal finance capitalism and China's industrial socialism.

China is NOT going to make the same mistake Russia made in the 1990s, namely to adopt neoliberal policies that permit its wealth to be privatized and turned over to US oligarchs.

America’s Neoliberal Financialization Policy vs. China’s Industrial Socialism | Michael Hudson

"While U.S. trade strategists juxtapose American 'democracy' and the Free World to Chinese autocracy, the major conflict between the United States and China has been the role of government support for industry.

"American industry grew strong in the 19th century by government support, just as China is now providing.

"That was the doctrine of industrial capitalism, after all.

"But as the U.S. economy has become financialized, it has de-industrialized.

"China has shown itself to be aware of the risks in financialization, and has taken measures to attempt to contain it.

"That has helped it achieve what used to be the U.S. ideal of providing low-priced basic infrastructure services."

Again I wasn’t saying they are better rather presenting the question on a discussion board.

I just get sick and tired of the inability of our government to accomplish the smallest tasks.
Just look at our crumbling infrastructure.

ou are so stupid!
Your ignorance is Trumpian.

"We suspect you’ve seen a version of the following chart, which illustrates the secular decline in manufacturing and the rise of finance, insurance, and real estate (FIRE) in proportion to U.S. GDP.

"We’ve added a few years to the data series to give a better historical perspective of what’s taken place in the U.S. economy over the past 60 years.

"Note the crossover in 1986 and depending on where you sit it was either the Death Cross or the Golden Goldman Cross."

Of course it can be denied. The average Chinese person is super poor. The ones who made money from the West come to the west. The poor Chinese go to 3rd world to make money in the hopes of making enough to get a Chinese wife. If not they they try to marry a local for a visa.

When our system functions the way it was intended.......no.

Unfortunately it has become so corrupt that is no longer the case.
