Is Bondi blowing the Epstein Investigation intentionally?

It makes perfect sense that rather than using low hanging fruit of Trump being an Epstein client, the AutoPen Administration would work with NY to have them amend their statute of limitations, charge misdemeanors as felonies, have the Number 2 guy at DOJ work for Alvin Bragg to convict Trump for no underlying crime

Is that what Progressives are saying now?

Jeffrey Toobin opinion essay:

She has created a political crisis for Mr. Trump by mismanaging the disclosures about Jeffrey Epstein, the late pedophile and friend of the president’s. (In response to the demands of conspiracy theorists in Mr. Trump’s party, the attorney general, with some fanfare, first released a set of purportedly secret documents that were already public; then said, in effect, that there was nothing more to see; and then changed her mind and sought but did not secure the release of grand jury transcripts in the case.) What better way for Ms. Bondi to assist the president in changing the subject away from the Epstein files than to initiate a treason investigation of Mr. Obama?

The absurdity of this investigation is underlined, too, by the fact that Mr. Obama is almost certainly immune from prosecution — thanks to Mr. Trump and the Supreme Court. In its decision last year in Trump v. United States, the court held that there was a presumption that former presidents could not be prosecuted for any “official” conduct during their time in office. The preparation and dissemination of intelligence findings are certainly official functions of the presidency, and accordingly, they would be off limits as the bases for any criminal charges.

But pointing this out seems almost unfair to Mr. Obama; it suggests that he would escape prosecution only because of the lamentable technicality established by the Supreme Court in the Trump case. The more important reason is simpler: Mr. Obama committed no crime.

No one gives a shit what that perv has to say TBH.

Maybe the frustrating truth, for Bondi, etc .... is that all of the really damning evidence was cleansed by the FBI "and other law enforcement agencies" when they raided Epstein's island. All that's left is suggestive tidbits like contact lists, travel records and so forth. The videos of prominent people diddling kids are destroyed, or in a vault somewhere waiting for future need.

By this logic, there are a huge number of rightwingers who no one should listen to. Starting with Trump. Who cares what a 34 time felon has to say? Well, you do, because you voted for him after those convictions.

Bondi needs to know when to put her hair up and look like a serious, stern, pistol packing professional lawyer when delivering certain explosives such as this Epstein debacle. Sad that no one on her team prepped her character.

She had a chance to sell it. Long hair like a bimbo will not work.
Bondi was chosen for her affinity for corruption and her unconditional loyalty.

If there were such evidence, then other people would have been prosecuted.

I was watching a country music band the other night and they performed in their cowboy hats, boots, jeans... one wore the long duck dynasty beard another wore the hair sticking up in the air.

They did all of that to sell it; to be convincing. Their voices alone could have sold it, but they went the extra mile. When Bondi has to sell a "LIE" she needs to do a little bit more prepping for people to believe her.
