Is being angry a sign of weakness?

Bro successful people don't get angry! Have you ever seen a murder trial of a successful person?
Anger is natural reaction to being hurt.

People hurt those who are weak. That is not good, but this is human nature.

No, becoming angry with a situation that warrants that anger is not weak. We have the emotions we do for a reason, anger, fear, elation, indignation, etc.
I agree and I disagree.

Being weak leads to being wronged.

Being wronged leads to being angry.

Is being angry a sign of weakness?

No. Failing to control your anger in socially acceptable ways, staying within the laws of the state or country is significantly a sign of weakness for all to see and represent a significant threat to those around.

I guess I have a difficulty in explaining my thoughts.

1) When a person is weak, they are likely to be hurt by others, or suffer from natural causes.

2) When people are hurt they become angry.

Anger isn’t the problem.

How a person processes and deals with it usually is.

^^^ Amen to that. And they will do whatever it takes to make it happen.

God bless you always!!!

Ignore most media. They all want ratings, nothing else.
That's not always true. Take for example whatever station Rush was on. 24/7 Republican talking heads. Clearly Randi Rhodes, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, the Young Turks, ANY of them would bring them in big ratings. All they have to do is give them 4 hours.

But the Republicans who own that radio station don't want the money. They'd rather a vehicle they can use to brainwash people 24/7

In some markets Randi Rhodes beat Rush. Seems like she had a pretty big audience advertisers would love to advertise to.

Experiencing anger is how we were created along with the other emotions we feel. Each one helps us in one way or another but it's not experiencing the emotion that can be problematic, it's our response to such.

Also if someone intentionally targets you and you respond accordingly, that's not a sign of weakness but it might be in your best interest to think through what appropriate responses could be to specific situations that you may encounter. It's easier said than done of course, but better to think about these things at a time when you can calmly and clear headedly think things through as opposed to merely reacting upon finding yourself in an unexpected situation.

I hope this makes sense to you.

EDIT: Apparently I already answered this 3 years ago. I still hope it helped...
