I totally get the functionality aspect of smart watches especially for busy people. But there are (I hear) millions of people who just love non-smart, big luxury watches. I assume it's for the status and the bling factor.I wear a smart watch that's tied to my phone. So easy to take calls while working without fumbling for a phone. Most days I just leave my phone in the truck.
When I visit my dad in his resting place I wear his watch. It’s a plastic sports watch. My dad gave no fucs about material things.I stopped when my dad died.

I don't wear any jewelry of any kind. Thar stuff belongs on women not men.I totally get the functionality aspect of smart watches especially for busy people. But there are (I hear) millions of people who just love non-smart, big luxury watches. I assume it's for the status and the bling factor.
I wear a huge ugly watch . . . for diving. The thing almost qualifies as a weight belt by itself.
