1 degrees this morning, with a wind chill of -12.
It's mid January all right.
Unusual to have this cold of weather here 2 years in a row.

Snow squalls moving in here at 50 mph. We'll get a couple of quick inches for about 15 minutes and it'll be outta here quickly.

The dog just went out and ran around outside, he likes the cold for some reason.

The wife bought three dog sweaters when Walmart marked them down after Christmas.

Our goofy dog has already removed and chewed up two of them.

But 13 degrees by Wednesday! A veritable heat wave!

At least I don't live in Bismark, ND. It's -21 there with a 15 mph wind.

I was thinking about jetting down to Fort Lauderdale or Daytona for a couple/few days.

It's less than a hundred bucks round trip at the local airport.

But I dunno. Maybe next week. Or whenever I get really tired of the cold spell.

-15 here last night after a foot of snow. Got the generator at the ready in case power goes out (I can run the furnace, fridge and TV off of it). Just in case have a couple of propane heaters ready. I hate the cold.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood....

Here in central Cali it's sunny and cold... but not freezing. (it's about 60 right now) If it warms up I'll probably take the dog for a walk later.
