Pride, arrogance, perversions are evil things.actually, those verses say to hate evil, not evil things.
well, we shouldn't misquote text, but you insist on doing just that. Another shining example of haters and hypocrites loses track of what matters. So we should love evil things?
Another shining example of legalize speak.
That is an exhaggeration, but there is an element of truth to it. In Mein Kampf Hitler writes that he was initially sympathetic toward Jews. He writes that he only gradually learned how evil they were.Probably why hitler hated them so much because they were 100x smarter than the germans.
this is also what I find funny -- in Jewish law, nothing Jesus did was "heresy" and nothing in the process made him liable to ANY death penalty, let alone one which Jewish law would not sanction.^^ why do Jews get so upset when it is pointed out Jesus was crucified thanks to the Jews at that time?
You are all Christ-deniers. If you were alive then, you would had joined the mob and demanded his execution for “heresy”.
You’d pick Barabbas over Jesus. Just admit it.
um, yes. That doesn't change what the text says though.Pride, arrogance, perversions are evil things.
Tacitus, pliny, jocephus, matthew, mark, luke john etc. Not difficult stuff.of what?
great! None of which has any impact on the textual/procedural errors in the gospels. Thanks.Tacitus, pliny, jocephus, matthew, mark, luke john etc. Not difficult stuff.
great! None of which has any impact on the textual/procedural errors in the gospels. Thanks.
Fake as in it is “Israel” in name only. The Christian church is the true Israel now.In what sense is Israel "fake"?
but that doesn't change that the gospels have procedural errors. Why would they?Yeah they do. They are historical record. You're welcome.
Can you show us an example of evil, without there being a thing or person it’s associated with?well, we shouldn't misquote text, but you insist on doing just that. Another shining example of haters and hypocrites loses track of what matters.
Actually, it is the name of a existing political entity -- a modern day nation-state.Fake as in it is “Israel” in name only. The Christian church is the true Israel now.
okJacob got his name “Israel” because he was the one who contended with God.
No, they aren't.Israelites are the ones who contend with God
no, we haven't. Jews have abandoned God
Jesus has no value, meaning or relevance to anyone who is of the Children of Israel who are now called Jews. He's just another dead supposed historical figure., so they cannot be Israelites or a part of “Israel”. Unless of course they accept Jesus, then you are welcome.
to remove evil is to remove even the feelings which lead us to do evil things. When the text of Deut 17 uses the phrase "וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥ הָרָ֖ע מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ" it says "and you will burn the evil from your midst." Is anyone in this case burned? No -- the offender is stoned. So there is nothing about the person in this verse. It is about the evil tendency -- the evil inclination (remember that the tree eaten from was of the "knowledge of good an evil" so what we are trying to get rid of is our internal temptation to be evil").Can you show us an example of evil, without there being a thing or person it’s associated with?
The part where he doesn’t deny being the Son of Man? In fact he says “I AM”. They labeled him a blasphemer and demanded his death.this is also what I find funny -- in Jewish law, nothing Jesus did was "heresy" and nothing in the process made him liable to ANY death penalty, let alone one which Jewish law would not sanction
Duh, people DO evil THINGS. It’s the action of disobeying God’s laws.to remove evil is to remove even the feelings which lead us to do evil things. It is about the evil tendency -- the evil inclination (remember that the tree eaten from was of the "knowledge of good an evil" so what we are trying to get rid of is our internal temptation to be evil").
but that has no relevance in Jewish law. Being the "son of man"? We all are. Big deal. That's nothing at all like blasphemy in Jewish law. The story was written by someone who knows nothing about Jewish law.The part where he doesn’t deny being the Son of Man? In fact he says “I AM”. They labeled him a blasphemer and demanded his death.
yes, that's nice. But evil and good are underlying concepts.Duh, people DO evil THINGS. It’s the action of disobeying God’s laws.
Nobody was displaced, because no one was there. It was worthless desert. Let's review the historical facts with our eyes:My question is, who gets displaced for these people?
If you support the jews having a homeland, surely you support taking over places to give to the other stateless?
So which country should be "given" to the kurds?
So your claim is no one lived there?Nobody was displaced, because no one was there. It was worthless desert. Let's review the historical facts with our eyes:

Where are they? Where the hell is the community?

There's that oh so important dome, that was left to rot until the land was deeded over to the Jews.

Where the hell are all those Palestinians you people think were displaced?

^ Do you see people?
Read the disappointment of Samuel Clemens on his trip to the Holy Land. He wrote a book about the desolation. He tells us what the area looked like in no uncertain terms. He saw ONE nomad passing through. He goes into great detail about it in one of his books.
So, get over the propaganda bullshit you were handed. No one was forced to relocate, because no one was there.
When Israel was given back to the Jews, and started to flourish, the Jews welcomed people from neighboring countries to work and live in peace. And some did. Mostly from Egypt.
Egypt decided to invade Israel, so it told those non Jews to get out and burn their houses as they left. And so they did. Israel even asked them to stay and continue working together in peace. The ones that left went to the Egyptian border, and to their surprise weren't allowed in. So they squatted there on Israeli land. Israel withdrew their invitation for them to remain in Israel. The group didn't qualify for refugee assistance since they hadn't been there for 2 years, but were given aid because without it, they were going to starve to death. The King of Jordan condemned Egypt saying Egypt left them there to be a constant thorn in Israel's side.
Did that strategy work?
Look at the size of Egypt, and the size of Israel, and tell me which is in a better position to give the Muslims a bit of land of their own...
